The shaft itself is way too long, I have a MOMO tuned gear knob on there, pushed down, but still too long. I need a new shaft, but even the C's one I have seen, the throw is shorter (obviously) but the length of the shaft is way too long still.
The reason I asked Prank, is cos I asked someone if the short shift kits were just a "shorter throw" or if the actual gear stick was also shorter and he said "only the throw is shorter, the gear stick is the same length".
Heya guys..I wanna cut down the standard R33 gear stick cos I think it's too long, and it looks outta place in the Skyline, but I noticed that the gear stick itself tapers out, making it hard to get the gear knob back on.
Anyone had any luck chopping theirs?

I sold my DC2 Integra Type-R and got a 97 GTS-T .. okies, there's a shitload of them around, but same as most Japanese imports.
It's different to the "R" ... lacking the Honda quality inside, but hey, change is good!
Hey guys, I have decided to try and retrim the interior fascia on my SII R33 and also the surround on the driver's side power window.
Anyone done this before?
I was thinking a carbon fibre weave look, done in stick on vinyl.
Or does anyone know where it can be done.
Thanks heaps.

Hey there.
The surrounds of my CD player, ash tray etc and the plastic trim surrounding the electric window controls in my 97 SII Line are lookin dodgy, so I was going to cover them in a carbon-weave look vinyl.
Has anyone done anything to this effect before, or know of places in Perth that do it?
Thanks
Mark.
I was suprised at how easily the car past pits.
Underneath was immaculate, clean as anything.
Engine bay neat and clean.
The tyres are pretty knackered, yet he passed the car after 10 minutes.
Yep..took delivery of my 1997 R33 GTS-T on Friday.
