Am in the process of collecting parts for my Rb25 build-up. Will be going Rb26 crank rods and pistons though. UAS are selling new REV forged rods for $1500. After searching both google and this site i have found no other information on them. Has anyone else used or got information on them.

yeah standard turbo atm. after this lot is installed it'll be time to start collecting for round 2, 3037s injectors forgies. avcr

Ive already purchased just waiting to install greddy plenum hks ex cam gear bosche fuel pump sx fuel reg power fx q45 afm & throttle body just need the cash for a decent front mount and i can get this stuff installed and tuned ive got a r33 gtst what should i expect from this.

yeah am working towards the turbo... I wanted to do my build-up in 2 stages. 1. support systems 2. big turbo and big boost. i pretty much have all the support items now(see last post). so ill get them installed + tuned and it'll then just be a matter of waiting till i have the funds for the turbo. leigh.

I have already purchased new 044 fuel pump, sx reg, surgetank. Also no the way are a Greddy Plenum, Q45 afm + throttle body. Had just put the FC in and given it a bit or a run to see how it would go. Ran like normal, except for the fact that the hand controler was easy to get to show 100% duty, never showed more than 17 on the knock meter though. as soon as i get the plenum etc, will installing all the bits and taking it to ARE (QLD) for custom cooler / piping job. then its time for a tune, and i guess i will find out if new injectors are needed too. leigh.

ARE Cooling (Brendale, QLD) make their own stepped & curved core oil cooler. http://www.are.com.au/products/oilcoolers.htm Check out this guys site, make's a kit for r33 for $1098. this guy has done a reap or R&D and has a heap of usefull information on his site, even owns a r33 skyline himself.

I got a 400R bar on my skyline as well. Not only is it sit a little to low, it also sits forward a bit more than a lot of other bars making slightly steep driveways / gutters etc a bit of an issue also. The skyline still sits at standard hight, so i will be replacing the bar before i drop it. leigh.

hey guys, i have a r33 gtst skyline and have just reciently intstalled the apexi PowerFC and hand controller. The rest of the car is pretty stock, except for 3in exaust. The FC is still in its base tune. What i have noticed though is if i give it a bit, it's not too hard to get the FC to flash up 100% duty cycle for the injectors (or close to it). whats the most logical cause for this, injectors or fuel pump on the way out? leigh.

OK am looking for both the Q45 afm and Q45 throttle body. anyone got some lying around or know where to find some. have had no luck tracking them down cheers leigh

Just going off of the xspeed website, they mention 80mm

Q45 it is (80mm right?), any idea where i would get hold of one at a reasonable price.

I am looking at purchasing a greddy plenum for my R33 Gts-t Skyline. Anyone know what throttle body will bolt straight up to it. leigh.
