Hi guys, got a pair of mike vines "gibson spec" turbos (x2) still fitted with a pair of CES dump pipes ypipe and oil lines, these turbos are plain bearing and are able to be overhauled, compared to most ballbearing varities, they give a beautiful power delivery, i purchased them on the advice of my engine builder and mike himself. never regretted it. they are in excellent working condition. unfortunatley the car has suffered a internal crack to the head, and i cant be bothered getting another one ATM. so ive decided to sell off some of the parts. looking for $2000 ono, Pickup is prefered from Rochedale south feel free to SMS me on 0418 751 062, paid 4200 for the turbos and 1000 for the dump pipes

Had same probs with gtr making 340kw running a little close to the edge fuel, Installed a Bosch 023 intank (using the DIY thread on SAU) and added an adjustable regulator bumping the pressure up a bit from 30 to 45 PSI and it has solved the problems. Pump-$170 new Reg-$165 new Clamp-$5 new

R32 Gts-t And Gtr Ignitor, Coil's, Wiring.
doubled replied to =premo='s topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The ignighter pack is interchangable part DIS6-01b And i would think that the loom that plugs into this would be interchangable as there are only two types of ignighter the rb20-rb26 and the rb25 which is a totally different and smaller unit, have a look at neungan to check the coil pack product numbers i think they are interchangable also!! I have a 32GTR and run a rb20 ignighter. Wrecker wanted 300 for GTR ignighter and 50 for GTST.... same item! Hope this helps! Liam -
Greetings all, Has anyone tried the GTR intake kit that PERFORMANCEWISE is selling on evil bay for $320 del. Now before everyone jumps on the HKS or GREDDY $1200 bandwagon, i am looking for a simple solution to a split intercooler pipe that i have been quoted $250 for a replacement for. Im only running 350 4whp on 13 psi and not chasing big numbers. thanks in advance Liam.

yeah got a GTR, was chasing a problem, in turn i had to take off the regulator only to find that the cap connected to the vacum pipe was spinning quite freely and thought there could be some damage to the diaphram or spring within. I had a stock regulator from a GTST that we had changed and was working at the time (pressure guage tested). People have said that the items in question are the same, but they are not the GTR one has a different lower hose connection, Is this the only difference, or do they also run at different pressures,

had a similar prob and after 20 hrs changing almost everything found that it was a stuffed ignighter pack

150 Rwkw On A R32 Gtr! (update 6 Apr)
doubled replied to Styline GTR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
was that 151kw plus 20 making it 171kw or 131kw to 151kw? what were the afrs and boost curve like, was it running rich or lean? pump filter injectors ok? ECU? maybe change to a remapped "MINES" ecu, be carefull chasing KW with almost 20yr old gear it sometimes ends in tears!! (PERSONAL EXPERIANCE) dont let them use your car as a "what happens when I do this" exercise what made them think a PFC or Intercooler change would solve all your problems were the old ones cooked or are they chasing $$$$ -
can anyone tell me if the standard RB25 (ser 1, 1994) and the standard RB26 (1989) fuel regulator have the same PSI. Cheers ,

not all large upgrades require cutting the bar. mine, only a slight mod of bonnet latch and removal of one of the two horns. Yep i agree a bit of overkill but as stated only cost $380, and dont forget that a lot of the "better" branded items are now made in china, possibly even the same factory????

my 32 GTR also has GRP A turbos and with the usual mods STD intercooler saw 320 ATKW with 20 PSI intake temps were fairly high and after a few runs was loosing power, and detonation was a real issue, there were a few options, cooler sprays or upgrading cooler. I was going to go for a TRUST drag cooler or ARE cooler, the prices quoted did not fit my budget ($ 1800)!! decided to get one of those cheap EBAY coolers ($380) 120MM thick and never lookled back after fitting up it made same power on 16PSI with minimal preassure drop. with 22 PSI made 460 RWHP and intake temps were no probs even after re-tuning on a summers day. by running twin compressors it pushed the air through quite well (compared to big single) and only changed boost range by 400 revs. NO LAGG!!!!!!!! water temps didnt move that much. Cheers
