  1. It might give me a reason to pull it out again for the 5th time.... Because that's what I want...
  2. Finished off the transmission front plate, fit the clutch and got the transmission bolted up to the engine. Decided to use a roller spigot bearing this time, anyone had any success/failure history with them? Makes sense to use one to me... I love seeing it like this. Almost starts to feel like it may actually get back in the car at some point!
  3. Whatever shit you're on, I need a bit of it! Send a bottle back to Shepp will ya!? Maybe I'm just in a rut! 🤣 Keep it up, you're smashing it!
  4. Ha ha, strong point. Hard to argue...
  5. Good stuff. Would be awesome if you could have it set to a timer where it circulated the fuel once a day to keep everything fresh. Would be awesome for stopping E85 rotting the shit out of everything.
  6. I dunno how you find the time…. I can’t find enough time to work on one car let alone 3 of them! Oh how I wish others successes were contagious!
  7. She’s looking good! Sump extension looks really nice, very neat. Time to throw all those sexy bits and pieces together!
  8. Last time I remember seeing on here you'd spent money we were still using Pounds.... 😁😁 You still playing or what? Says me who hasn't driven a GT-R for ten years..... Fuel was $1/L last time I put fuel in it....
  9. God damn are they fun when they do kick in though!! Mine had -5's when I first got it and when it hits boost (probably at around 4500-500 rpm the thing felt like it was in Startrek! Fast as hell yet slow as hell until you got there....
  10. After having my gearbox back for about 12 months after getting the gearset put in it, its finally back together apart from the front cover which I've ordered a new gasket for. Decided to stick with my modified transfer case as opposed to the Race Pace modified one I picked up with a busted gearbox I bought. Hopefully I did it right all those years ago and doesn't come back to haunt me! 🤣 Not much progress to speak of but yet again, the small wins determine the success of the larger battle...
  11. It's actually worse than motocross, it's hard enduro so brutal on the body. Did a 4 hour race last weekend, cooked me! Glad you're getting into yours. I really want to but time (and laziness) are working against me.
  12. Celebrate the small wins..... Finally finished off my transmission dolly today about 6 months after starting it.. Would love to think that this led to further advances but unlikely at this point. Still deep in dirtbike "season" so probably won't get much done again till September or thereabouts. Hope everyone else is getting shit done unlike me! 🤙🤙
  13. Oooooo, love me a little parts collecting! It seems like that's all I love about my car at the moment..... How's the spaghetti rewiring going?
  14. I'd stop doing it or be an arrogant prick if I had to do wiring all the time too! 🤣🤣
  15. Singapore Noodle Soup! It is a bit of a dog of a job but so satisfying when it's done! I'll be doing mine for the second time at some point which I'm not looking forward to. It's amazing how much neater you can make it all look with some well routed wiring. Enjoy! 😁
  16. God you’re a flog. All of your useful comments are made redundant as you’re just such a wanker. You could be the most knowledgeable bloke on here but because you’re also the most unlikeable your comments are as useful as watered down piss.
  17. Sounds amazing full noise! Your driving, not your singing!!!! 🤣🤣
  18. Because Skylines became quite cheap for a while they were predominantly owned by younger people and certain ethnic groups that were renowned for erratic driving! 😂 It’s probably settled down a bit now but in the past if you even drove passed a cop driving normally you were a very high probability of being pulled over. There is a “hooning” law in here in Victoria where if you commit 3 hooning crimes (skids, drifting, extreme speeding, etc) the car you’re driving on the 3rd conviction gets crushed. Regardless of whether it’s your car or not! Imagine the 3rd conviction you were driving the bosses C63 and got pinged doing skids. I’m sure he’d be stoked to see it go in the crusher……
  19. Very nicely made, well done! Here in Australia if you drive a Skyline and see the cops you run for the hills! 😂. They crucify Skyline owners here. I think that will change over time (I hope) as the ownership of Skylines changes from being mostly 20 year old hoons to the more mature adult that a lot of us are!
  20. Great to see her back on the road! Glad the JB Weld is holding her together!
  21. Well that explains it!!! Amazing car mate, cannot even comprehend how much of a handful that would be!!! Have you done a build blog on it at all?
  22. Fark me, what power is this beast making?? Details?
  23. They're definitely the most reliable option but they look aids so GTFO my car! Each to their own but it tidies everything up getting rid of them in my opinion. It does mean having to think through your routing and securing of AN lines to keep it looking tidy though.
