Geez they're good looking stoppers. Have you tested them out at full noise yet? Fade should be a thing of the past. -

What balancer type are you changing to Joey? I'm selling my brand new Ross which obviously has a trigger option. Possibility for swaps? -

Maybe not the ML then... Probably not the S500L either, that big barge wouldn't get around the first cone.... Something a bit more nimble might come up. -
Educated Guess At The Final Tune Results
Shoota_77 replied to Nismo 3.2ish's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
My head hurts! As was mentioned earlier, the actual discussion is fantastic as no one is really saying "I know this is the issue" more along the lines of "I believe it is..." so there is no need for anyone to be getting upset about another person offering a solution. It's great that everyone is willing to offer ideas as we've all had varying levels of experience chasing various issues. At the end of the day though, it's not until a decent tuner (that has nothing to hide unlike the previous tuner seems to have...) gets the car on the dyno and properly diagnoses the tune and setup that we're going to really find out what's going on. One thing that I also need to add is how f**king awesome it is that Peter is a 70 year old bloke with a love of the GT-R that he obviously gets a lot of enjoyment out of. Peter I take my hat off to you and can only hope that my balls don't shrivel up by the time I hit 70 and still have a passion for the amazing vehicle that the Skyline/GT-R is! Keep up the great discussion, it's what being part of a forum is all about. A lot of you guys have a great amount of knowledge and it's great to be a part of but let's keep all knickers knotless! -

I might see what cars we trade in over the next few weeks and maybe enter one of those. I valued an ML63 last night, that would be a bit of fun! -
Yeah they should be all much the same. It's really only the mounting point that matters seeing it'll get chopped up. Please let me know how much for both. Thanks heaps.

Hi guys, I need a couple of oil pick-ups to modify for my RB30/26. I'm in northern Victoria so please let me know a posted price. Thanks! Ewan.

Looks great, I like it. Something a bit different anyway. Reminds me of a Southern 80 speed boat but in a good way!

You're English is better than many "Australians" so good work. Good luck with your project, post up some photos when you get a chance.

No so much car related but I get a huge amount of use out of my Ryobi 18V cordless drill. I built my whole shed with it (8X14) plus a heap of dyna bolt holes in for the poles of my second shed. It got dropped off a 4 metre ladder a heap of times and copped a flogging. It only just died the other day on the 3rd last dynabolt hole. Ryobi have a great 2 year warranty so took it back to Bunnings and walked out with a brand new one with another 2 years of warranty. Awesome!

Adding Rb26 Windage Trays To Rb30 Girdle......
Shoota_77 replied to Ramius83's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
In my opinion no ways there is enough load put on the girdle to cause any problems. All the linking sections of the girdle does is prevents fore and aft movement. A few 6mm holes are gunna do f'all to affect that. -

Tomei Oil Pump Won't Fit With Crank Collar ?
Shoota_77 replied to cobrAA's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I had the same problem, JUN collar, Tomei pump and didn't fit. Same deal, my machinist had the oil pump as well as the crank/collar but he didn't pick it up. I bought 2 collars, one local and the JUN. The local collar had heaps of clearance to the oil pump drive (prior to fitting to crank) whereas the JUN had perfect clearance. I can only presume the same as was mentioned above, the collar was heated to fit, was pressed on but then it didn't shrink back enough to give the right clearance. Wish the machinist picked it up before i got to the point of fitting the oil pump... -
Up for sale is my brand new Ross Metaljacket Balancer for R33 or R34 GT-R. It's rated up to 1500hp. I bought it thinking I was going to run a full Ross Trigger Kit only to find I can't use their kit with an RB26/30 due to the sump adapter spacing the crank trigger mount away from the trigger wheel. It's brand new in the box and never been on an engine. Cheapest I have seen them is $650 delivered so I'll do it for $600 delivered Australia wide. I'd also consider a swap for an ATI 1000HP balancer for R33 GTR. Message/call me on- 0 . 4 . 1 . 7 . 5 . 8 . 1 . 5 . 0 . 3
