Im having an intercooler put on my s2 r33, and the guy at the workshop recommended that i get a plenum custom made. Im aiming or around 250rwkw, is the decrease in lag going to be worth the $1100 odd it will be to fabricate one?

Ive got a s2 r33 gts25t, and im after some adjustable coilovers. Which brand/model is the best value for money :wassup: ??? I am in auckland. Ive asked around, but i dont like taking some random mechanics word that the gear they are selling is the best stuff. Assistance is much appreciated

I'm thinking about getting some coilovers for my 33. Im in auckland. What brand's should i avoid? which is the best value for money? will i need to get them certed? should i try get some second hand? are there different types of coilovers? Thanks for any help

Anyone know a reliable place that i can get one of these from in the auckland area? and is there any way to tell if it is what its labeled as? -
First off, yes or no? If yes, what brand should i use? Is the one from the petrol station (atx or something) fine to use? What about having injectors cleaned in auckland, i know this is what i should do but id prefer to try a 15$ bottle first

My problem was that there was no water in the battery, so i topped it up with tap water **** im lazy. On a side note, when replacing the battery in an r33 is it important to get one with the special venting system or can ijsut use any battery?

alright, problem is that i dont have anything to measure the voltage. I'll just chrge it and take it for a good drive, then see if it goes flat again.

I just got back from holiday and after not driving for 12 days my battery is dead. im pretty sure i didnt leave anything on, is this just a sign of a dying battery or something like the alternater? Thanks

I just replaced my oil with Castrol Magnatec 10W 40 and a repco filter and the car seems to run much better. Ive decided to just move thru all the different types of oil that people recommend. 1 down, 20 to go. On a side note, my car sits on 1/4 pressure at idle and up to 3/4 at full.

do you think it would be a better idea just to take it into nissan or a normal mechanic and get them to do it? im not really confident with brake stuff or the timing belt....

My sII does exactly the same thing, when i brake hard or take off it goes "clunk". I just had a suspention alignment and a new diff cap :S and it still does it -
My car is coming up to 100,000 kms, what should i be looking at replacing? Its also due for an oil change & new filter & fuel filter too. Its a '96 GTS25T with stock boost and just catback and pod. What oil/filters should i use, and what other part need replacing? I am in auckland, nz. Many thanks dudes

did you just put the pod on? cause mine did the same thing when i put a pod on. Problem was the pod wasnt letting thru enough air and it was cutting. Put the standard air box back on and go for a spin.

how dificult are cams to install? and when looking at purchasing some i assume your bettergoing to a big name like hks? and wahts the price of some hks cams?
