  1. What tosh said
  2. My trick to beat the vote Q's is to go to your Town Hall the day before, tell them you'll be in transit on the day and cast your absent vote there on the Friday
  3. it goes by the factory power figures. so a R32 gtst may be OK but a R33 may not. Im not to sure Franks. Its what I've been abled to gather via some other threads in here
  4. power to weight also goes for cars and P platers in VIC. Doesnt mean the rules are followed.
  5. I think you mean the Air flow meter, unless your using a ECU which uses MAP (i think Rexxies) Click for R33 GTSt ECU diagram.
  6. Yes but the Skiline doesnt follow you around after a thasing :cuddle: :69:
  7. Seen JAY 25T black r33 Parra Rd Granville
  8. An so the saga which is day's of our life continues... Chris. I think when Wreckhead run he had a leak from the NAWS system, then fixed it and Alex tried his hand at it.. I know it still will not give you an exact HP reading, there is some truth in the drag racing method. Although I do believe that it takes more than just 1 run down the 1/4 mile to get a good idea. On a dyno you have more than 1 run and then the output changes at a different dyno. At the end of the day who care as long as I leave the dyno with more HP than when I arrived.
  9. Only way I can think of if not already done is to adjust the boost controller as to minimize wastegate creep.... Apart from that I think your turb will not physically spool any earlier. I could be wrong and Im sure someone will correct me..
  10. Or in this case troy I guess that means the ECU's have different looms and I would'nt fark with it.. If you blow a PFC, $2000 for the specific model would of seemed a sweet deal
  11. Id say you will need the default's which the RB20DET PFC comes with for it to work. There is more to a PFC than just Ign & Inj map's. If we can get a R32 PFC on a datalogit laptop and then save the default's and use them in a R33 PFC on a R32 in theory this should work. Although if you ever needed to do a PFC reset the maps would default back to R33. Be interested to see if SK has anything to add to this thread.
  12. I have the datalogit software for RB25det which covers the following PFC's RB20DET RB25DET RB251PRO The interface and software are the same but the maps are not. So if you think you can just plug it in and away you go you would be wrong. You will need the default map to start with in a RB20DET which would be different to the Default map for a RB25DET
  13. I thought soda water had CO2. We once used this on a crop to speed up growth. worked well
  14. I wouldn't say impossible. Wind chill factor and the evaporation of water will do this. I used a 50/50 mix with metho in my bottle and the temp's go even lower, as metho starts to freeze when it evaporates.. Something along the lines of refridgeration.. Try placing some metho on your hand and feel the temp change as it dries off!
  15. I think if you dont wear a baseball cap you can get away without the engineer's certificate my 2c
  16. I seen him whind up his turb with an elastic band once. Made more boost too. baha
  17. Nice. I was making 198 witt he same modes. Since then I managed onther 10rwkw. Congrats
  18. Spotted yellow r34 plates ENF 05R I think, in Clyde St Granville this morning
  19. Thanks SK. Im sure I had seen that same post once before. But yeah it make good sense Chers
  20. Yes Jay is right but the timing will be on the dangerous side.
  21. Wil the SAFC wont alter the ECU timing
  22. I have a PFC and still get the occasional pop. Not as bad as with the stock ECU
  23. What they are saying is. With a non standard BOV which vents to atmosphere your engine runs rich when you lift off the throttle. Replacing the standard BOV or fitting a BOV which recirculates back into the inlet will stop the popping/backfire
  24. I take it you have left TT
