Sean Mallard

Hey, I'll be respraying my car in a month or so. I'd like to use this flake http://www.paintwithpearl.com/flakes/purple/purple.htm My goal is to have the entire car in this colour. Should I go with a black base and load the flake until it covers it, or would it be better to find a base that's closer to that purple? I thought maybe Plymouth in-violet or mopar plum crazy metallic. But I'd like a finished colour that's closest to that of the flake, and not the base. Thanks for any input. Sean
