Hey guys, new at all this turbo stuff, got an rb20det gtst. Bought a turbo with 45v3 on front and 21u on exhaust housing I believe from research it's an VG30 turbo (45v3). The ceramic wheel has snapped off and I need a whole assembly for middle. Is this a waste of time chasing parts? What cost is involved in getting another assembly? Also I can't get the f**ker out cause it free spins where the ceramic has snapped clean off any help would be great. Thanks

Hey mate, have you tried replacing the wiper motor? These tend to die when brushes wear low. These power jets and blades.. Sorry that's all I know

Make sure you intercooler has no leaks or moisture in it or borrow an AFM off a Mate and swap to see if this solves your issue mine did similar was AFM. Even after cleaning had to be replaced

Haha yeah sounded like a rexy lol. Got another issue but it happens not frequently, if I take off quick up the street and get my boost up it randomly looses power and nearly dies :-/ any ideas?

Hey mate please don't laugh. I really appreciate your help!!! I found the issue. The first coil pack clip was not fully connected hense running on 5 cylenders. Hahah f**k I feel like biggest knob in earth. Thanks again bro!!!!

Hey Guys, Car is playing up, had a lot of problems with stalling randomly, so I changed fuel pump, CAS, and ignitor module. I believe this fixed the issue, I was test driving it after doing this work when suddenly the car started vibrating bad and rattling loud almost like it has no engine mounts. Sounded a bit like a fan. Turbo still spools. But when I start it I rev up and it runs bad and cuts out. No idea. Any help would be great. Cheers

Yeah man that's awesome. You may have to change more frequent but it's saving that cash man haha plus it's fun to tinker so I don't mind. I've done 5k on mine still hitting high revs no backfires or misses.. Loving it

Either that or relay, does relay click when turned to on? That is another way of telling you it's getting power ;-) should be little green or blue box in boot skirts

Hey everyone, I have an r32 gtst with a stock RB20DET, was looking into spark plugs all around apparently you need these iridium ones that are 22 bux a pop. I chucked these in (3330) BCPR7ES (NGK code) and they work wonders!!! There only 4 bucks a plug at autobahn or sca. I did this over 2 months ago and coilpacks are 100% no damage to engine at all!! Runs fkn awesome! Save yourself $100 when servicing ;-) should work in 33s as well Hope this helps. Ryan

I strongly recommend not removing filler necks at all unless 100 percent nessesary, the o rings expand with fuel fumes hitting them if your lucky you can reuse them but the best thing to do is keep neck on and remove the pump than the line next to pump, I just lowered with jack, when raising have someone to make sure filler neck is in right position or It can get messy lol trust me from experience. Of you do remove filler mark location cause there is 6 different areas it can go back into

I have the following for sale. Freight is negotiable 1x s13 fuel tank and filler neck great condition no leaks or rust, coated in fish oil to prevent rust and spotless inside. Good to go. 1x r32 gtst fuel tank. This is a stock tank clean no rust and all that but the top fuel pump holes have one bolt snapped off in it and is in need for repair (free, just pay freight) 1x r32 gtst fuel tank filler neck (with seal & plate) fine condition no rust (off above tank) If anyone is keen text me on 0425733713. Drained all fuel out and put fresh fuel in with fuel filter no luck issue has to be spark plugs i think

okay mate just getting the hang of the website, yeah was in his yard not driven for at least 3 months ill drain all the fuel and put fresh fuel in and see how this runs mate, thanks for all the help guys
