About to put more rego on. Offers? -
Hi Mark, Wow, thanks for the reply. In regards to the Mazda Museum, apparently there is another underground "secret" area where they restore cars, and have some other cool stuff down there. Have you heard anything about this, or know of a way to get down there to see it. I think my misses has a bunch of tradition stuff planned anyway, but I'll show her your reply and see what she thinks. In regards to Onsens, and stuff like that, what are the Japs like when it comes to tattoos? Are they a bit funny about them because of yakuza, or are would be they fine with it because I'm a whitey.

Need help finding breather hoses and vacuum lines for an RB20. I can't work the ebay machine. Help!
-
Does anyone have any idea where to get breather lines (the ones on top of the engine) and vacuum lines for an RB20. I looked on ebay, and can't really find anything. There is a few listings, one for like $12 and the same thing for $90 yet I can't tell the difference. Then again I can't really work the google/ebay machine, and I'm pretty useless at reading. Any help would be great.

Hi Guys, I know this has topic has been covered 1000 times. But I'm after some info on good car related stuff to do in Japan. As well as some tradition stuff for the misses. We will be flying into Osaka or Kyoto, I can't remember which one, on the 19th of May. So far, on the itinerary is the Mazda Museum on the 22nd, and that's about it. I have found a website saying that I can rent a GTR for the day, it costs around $350 AUD, does anyone know if there is an age restriction to this at all? I will be applying for an international licence as well, what kind of general hire cars do they offer? Also if anyone has any info or knowledge of any car meets, and drifting coming up in May, help would be greatly appreciated. I'm open to any other suggestions that anyone has.

I have something very special, drum roll please. Toyota aristo, because 2JZ and tow car for potential track car. Don't stress I won't be abandoning the cause for long, just need to free up some space for now until I move into the new place. -
Thought I might chuck this in here as well, see what interest I get. 183xxx kms Manual New HD Clutch, less than 1000kms, rear main seal done at same time New radiator Bilstein shocks Lowered springs, unsure of brand 34 GT wheels w/ Federal 595RS-R tyres 99% thread, less than a month old Turbo timer and aftermarket boost gauge All fluids (gearbox, diff, brake, clutch) were changed when I got the car, around 4k kms ago Front mount intercooler Exhaust Overall a pretty tidy car. There is a few scratches around the body, has the factory M spec body kit. The side indicators, next to the headlights, will need to be replaced. They are currently held in with zipties, as the little brackets have broken. All mechanical is great, drives smooth and no leaks. The few issues are with the body. Looking for $7,500. It has rego until Feb 2014, I think will have to double check. I'm happy to put more rego on if the price is right. Not interested in swaps, looking for a straight cash buy as I have another car lined up to buy. For anything else, feel free to send a PM. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/437506-act-1993-nissan-skyline-gts-t-m-spec/ <-- link to main page thread with pictures.

Sau A.c.t. - What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
dirtywan replied to Got a Pulsar's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Tried to find what plugs I can use for my car today (yes I have searched the forum before anyone tells me to) I'm still really confused. I have found the NGK BCPR6EIX (platinum I think) or the NGK PRF6A (Iridium) seem to be the most popular choices so if anyone has had any experience some advice would be great. I don't want to use copper ones because I can't be arsed changing then every ~5000kms. -

I hope your hitting the limiter when the engine is cold.
-
Since this was pretty successful, we are thinking of making it an annual or bi-annual event. More information to come!

If you have only had the car for the last 5k kms, and haven't change every thing that has fluid. I suggest doing that, change everything that has fluid. Depends on how far you want to go. Brakes, clutch, gearbag, diff and engine/filter. First thing I did when I got my skyrine, was change everything. The seller said, oh nar bro everything has bin dun aye. In short, he was full of sh!t. The only way your going to learn, is to get off the internetz and do something. Not trying to sound rude. But it's always good to learn the basics yourself. It will save you a bucket load in the long run. Leave all the big stuff to mechanics.
