  1. I didnt even know there are gasket and filters in gearboxes. I just want a proper service performed on the gearbox as I believe it needs it. Could you email me your contact details, cost and what is included in the cost?

  2. Hey guys,

I would like to have my auto gearbox serviced and fluid changed. Am located at southside brisbane, so the closer to sunnybank the better. I am after somewhere close that is reliable and knows what they are doing. It is for an import. If I could get a few names, so i can call them up for a quote and booking.

    Thanks,

    Alex.

  3. The importer i went to the other week was called www.abyssmarine.com in molendinar, i know a guy that owns another shop on the Gold Coast Hwy in Plam beach called Aquariums Etc. real nice guy, good advise and fish are usually cheaper than everywere else, another place is Coral plantations down in Currumbin, Very nice store with everything you need but very expensive, there are a few more but those are the better of the lot...

sweet will find some time to check them out. Thanks :)

  4. I have a 3ft x 1.5ft x 2ft, with stand, light, gravel., internal filter, heater, aerator, 25cm red devil....

Ill consider selling it if anyones interested

    $50? sold!

I got a 3*18*18 marine Aqaurium with soft and hard corals, anamone's a couple of fish and a heap of live rock, there are heaps of marine aqauriums down here on the Gold Coast, went and checked out a importer in molindinar the other day and there was heaps of crazy fish in there ive never seen b4...

Mind if you give me details of these aquariums and also the importer details? PM if its more appropriate. :)

  5. Got another question.... how do you use the corals pieces, I got a small container of it, supposely it can be used as a sorta like supplement for the fishes? Do I drop some small pieces into the tank? or do they need to be washed first ?

  6. Technically he is responsible for sending the replacement unit under warranty, unless it is not under warranty or in his sale he explicitly state that customer has to pay for warranty claim's shipping. If you want to know what type of legal standing you have, you can call dept. fairs trading and they will advise you (assuming you want to take it this far). As to the defect.. no thats yours as you choose to drive the car with defect headlight.... Another point you might want to remember is that if your car does not come with factory HID and complied with it then HID is illegal on your car as well. So next time when you have a full set of HID, blues can still defect you on it. :(

  7. Just wondering if there are anyone here that is living close to the sunnybank area and are into fish... Got a few question on how to setup me fish tank properly.. Abit of a newb with this so please be kind to me.. :( Are there any local queensland forums that are dedicated to fish stuff by chance?

  8. Gavin Wood is the closest off the top of me head (his workshop is only like 5 minutes down the road, close to harbour town) and looking at some of the feedback here he is very knowledgeable on skylines. He does however charge accordingly... This skyline happen to be a 32 black ? :(

  9. Interested but got a few questions:

    1) if it never had ram and never used.. how do you know "it works 100% all it needs is ram to boot?"

    2) Can you list the model numbers please? like the motherboard, graphics card, etc ?

    3) When did you buy the parts? IE. do you have all the receipts for warranty ?

    4) Who put the parts together?

    5) Does it come with a monitor?

    6) how negotiable is the price? as the asking price is way too high

  10. Ok here's the set-up:

I have cable internet. The cable internet modem is ethernet based.

I bought a D-link wireless router which is plugged in between the modem and the main computer.

The main computer continues to run fine.

I've run the disc that came with the wireless router and follow all the steps which setup the wireless network which is all sweet.

    Now here's the tricky part.

My laptop has wireless built in, I can find the wireless network and I can connect to it. In my network connections it says: Connected, signal strength good etc, 54mps.

But I can't access the internet.

    I've already tried troubleshooting,

    I've tried:

Entering the MAC address into the config settings when connecting to the wireless network. Doesn't work.

Tried turning on the 128bit WEP key and entering that into the laptop conecting to the network. Doesn't work.

I had a dial-up account on the laptop which I thought might have been interfering with the browser conecting to the net, so it's deleted but it still doesn't work.

I've also tried pinging a few sites through msdos but that doesn't work.

I've also tried turning off my firewall, and that doesn't work.

Does anyone know what i'm missing here? I'm about ready to chuck the router out the window,

any help would be greatly appreciated!

    -Insu

    Very simple thing to do:

    1) Check that your laptop is connected to the right wireless router

    2) check that you have not set an IP address on the wireless card (this rogers the laptop chance in getting a dynamic IP from the wireless router).

Try these and see how you go. With the suggestion of turning off firewall/antivirus... Firewall maybe (should be able to look into the firewall logs to see if any traffic is being blocked on the wireless network's subnet range) but not antivirus. Other things you can check too on your DLINK router is to make sure you laptop is visible within the router's config.

  11. Hrmm.. ok thanks DAN. Cost wise I really dont care as the insurance place is paying but I want a good job done the first time.. not like the initial place I went to where I went back 9 times and they still f@#ked it, adding more damage to my car as an "added bonus" too yay :\

  12. Still havent had time to wash the car and take it around for a quote yet.. it seems to rain everytime I want to wash me car :(

Another question does any have any experience with the mob below:

  15. Hey all,

Just like to know if you guys know of (or have experience with) any good panel/paint repaint place, I need a couple of good places to get a quote (its going to be covered by insurance) and give to my insurance company. It can be close to the city or close to sunnybank area but must be close to public transport as I work in the brisbane city and mainly stay in sunnybank hills.

    Thanks in advance. :)

  16. I had something like the following on me old R34

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2pcs-T10-194-Wide-A...1QQcmdZViewItem

Except the one I got was from US and it was 16led ones. Dont get any that even have a small amount of blue, as the lense inside the parker casing sorta amplifies the blue color and you will get a nice little defect (speaking from experience). I would go with ones that have more led than one or two as they will put out more light and would fit much better with HIDs in terms of color (unless its the lex led ones).
