  1. Was in the exact situation (well.. close) not long ago, cept the budget part... I went wif the 34 mainly cause of the following reason: 1) Like the 34 shape better than 33 series 1 or 2 2) Its a new car and hope that there isnt much that can go wrong with the car 3) Still in limited supply.. so its more standout than a 33 4) More boot space 5) More room in the car in general (?) well it feels that way anyway. 6) Love the dash more than the 33 (ie. the center console part). 7) 34 neo engines was suppose to have a lil bit more low end torque? Bottomline is go 34GTT if you can afford it and get a reasonable good quality one.. or a 33 gtst series 2. The choice is when you buy, what you find at the time and also the budget at the time. Good luck to ya.
  2. LOL.. yer tats mine.. Ah I had a quick look at that silver 34 in the yard.. damn its front bar is beggin for a BIG FMIC

  8. Hrmm.. phat lookin wheels Hrmm.. still thinks the 32s gtst looks a lil bit weird without the standard spoiler... hehe but thats just me.
  9. Mine's triptronic sorta auto.. heh Hrmm. no I dont recall I've met u either.. so yet will catch up next time.
  10. hey owned.. my car was bought from autoforce.. I have to say kevin did try everything he can to look after me.. and believe me I am a very pickky n fussy person.. hehe.. In fact just been there and came back today.. still have a couple of little things to be fixed. Apparently I got a fair good deal on my car according to some of me friends. But before I got my car.. I had a full RACQ inspection and anything that is not right.. I got him to fix before I got me car or afterwards. Which car are u gettin btw? Oh as a side note.. saw they have a new silver (or light gunmetal?) 34 in the yard today.. looks like its stock.. but has a pretty good lookin front bar on it.. if the new owner fits a big FMIC on it.. ooooooo phatness...
  11. Saw a nice greenish looking GTst on the M1 motor way on 21st arvo leaving from brissy city as I was... very nice lookin Forgot the rego tho..

  13. Hello all, Just interested to find out.. has anyone fitted air bag suspension on a skyline before? If so.. how well does the car ride and how much did it ~ cost to be fitted?
  14. MJ.. yours is an auto? Anyhow.. I havent done 1/4 mile in mine yet.. but.. have got it dyno'ed at 196rwHP.. thats ~150rwKW ? Stock standard with just a FMIC, pod and a muffler performance wise..
  15. Hrmm.. mayb get rid of the bottom lip.. tat way the side skirts will look the same level..
  16. Just found the name of the other check.. its called wovr... Goto Dept of fair trading and ask for the glovebox guide (a guide to buying and owning a car). Its very helpfull.
  17. Ah.. must ask for the green one instead next time..
  18. This is called a REVS check and there is another check you can get done too .. but cant remember off the top of me head.. Give DOT a call they will be able to tell you. Before I got me car from a car yard.. I got a RWC and a full RACQ inspection done.. The RACQ inspection I admit was worth the money.. it found quite a few things that I wouldnt find normally (as I aint a very knowledgable car person). They have however failed to pick up other little things, but I guess nothing is perfect. From memory my RACQ inspection cost over $100 (130 maybe)?, and it was slightly cheaper for me cause I'm a member as well. Good Luck and post some pics when you get da beast.
  19. Agreed with some of what other people mentioned already.. comparing cars is pretty much up to personal preference. But.. Before I got a 34 GTT I have test driven 33 gtst (modified and stock), S15 J-Spec, S14 Stock Aust delievered, gtir stock (?) (just for the hell of it) . S13/silvia and silvia I didnt bother cause I wanted a newish car. I must say 34GTT is still the car to get, depending on what you wanted a car for. The GTT has better interior (standard), turns more head and more room! than an S15 or S14 or even 33. I would agree to say that 34 GTRs.. ooo... gimme one..
  20. Hello Muz, Yes I still have you on my PM list.
  21. meh.. dragstrip.. me car is too ooooooo slow.. so think I'm going to give it a miss..
  22. Hrmm.. a quick n00b question.. is the track booked the track that was used for "cruising" during power cruise?
  23. $75 fine n 1 point demerit.. first time I lost a point in me life.. so looks like I got done over tis time.. ok so far.. its defect.. fixed.. take to DOT to show rectify.. tats it.. Anyone challenged a defect notice yet? Surely someone has.
  24. Predator.. wish it the same here too.. but a RWC dont really mean crap here.. so I found out. neil_se and anna32.. If by chance the same officer pulled you over, what are you going to do/say?
