Hrmm.. could it be the XR-6T ? The XR6 turbo sedan has no speed limiter standard Dammit... Thought soarer comes in N/A (tho I have not/dont remember ever seeing one), a twin turbo six and a V8. Have never seen a single turbo six unless it is a twin to single conversion. Also with the supras there is also these limited edition ones that has turbo A factory upgrade, its got quiet a few extra factory TRD (?) parts fitted not sure if its still called either RZ, GZ or something else.

Take him on and find out for us. I would hazard a guess that a stock vx ss would beat a stock gtst but I could be wrong.

Hey asylum, It does sound like the rev limiter, mine makes the cold sounding noise (even tho my friend thinks its a sweet noise) when it hits redline. But if you are not sure.. take it to your mechanic and ask him.. I'm sure if he is a good/nice mechanic he wont charge you for this. Or alternatively try to drag a car knowledgable friend next time and ask him when it happens again.

First of all welcome Eug.. If you are looking for a r33, get a series 2 like Zoix said coz the series 2 looks much better stock than the series one stock. I only recently got me car.. so check out www.carsales.com.au, www.carpoint.com.au and also www.tradingpost.com.au. There was quite a few 33s, when I was looking for a skyline as well. On top of the mentioned sites.. do a search for import car yards in yellowpages.com.au most of them also have websites that is slightly out of date... If your 18.. the insurance for a GTST will cost you an arm and a leg.. but some people can still afford it... :| Last but not least.. Colors is not a major factor (it can be changed relatively easy), probably better off looking for one that you can afford that is in good/reasonable nick with good engine and things.. Hrmm.. 0.7 bar.. what does that read on the standard boost gauge? Think mine is running approx. that, on my boost gauge the needle goes over ~2/3mm after the indicater between the 0 and 1+ (On boost that is) The turbo seems fine, cause I usually drive with more than just a few squirts..
