Ok so I managed to fix the problem, here's what I did in order - I first tried changing the actual halogen bulb, but still wasn't working I then checked the fuses, the headlight low beam fuse (right hand side) was blown so I was relieved and changed it, but still didn't work I then switched the relays around, nothing.. Then tonight I removed the headlight and checked all the wiring, it all seemed ok but then i noticed as I followed the red power wire, that it had been cut and there was a wire leading to the left hand side of the vehicle. I followed the wire and it led to the left hand headlight :S So i disconnected this wire and reconnected the red power wire to the original power wire (which was cut and just dangling around) and lo and behold the headlight works! infact neither headlight now flickers and they seem brighter than before lol... So I reckon when the car was being complied, when installing the halogens they burnt the right hand headlight fuse and instead of bothering to check the fuse box they just did a botch job and spliced off the left hand headlight to power the right hand headlight...

Hey buddy, thanks for the info. I opened the fuse box behind the battery and i turned the stalk through the options and I heard clicking for the parkers, the high beams and also the low beam headlights (of which only one is currently working). Checked all the connections going into the fuse box and seemed fine.. The clicking was loud with the fuse box cover off but even with everything put back into place I can hear clicking when I turn on the lights. Does this mean it probably isn't the relay? should I just swap the relays to see if I can get the light working or will I run the risk of stuffing something up if I do that? sooooo confused :S

What if I splice into the parker light and just connect the two wires to the halogen from parker?? has anyone ever done this? im desperate to fix this quickly and cheaply lol..

How do i turn on the fog lights on the car??? I always thought there were only low and high beams along with the parkers?? As for the headlight how do i know the wiring has been burnt? Amd if it has how can i fix it? Is it an easy job or do i have to take it to a auto electrician? Cheers

Hey guys, Having a problem with my headlights and hoping someone here may be able to help... Basically my right hand headlight has stopped working. It started gradually, so when I would start it up it wouldn't turn on but after a few taps it would turn on, but now it doesn't turn on anymore. This occasionally happens with my left hand headlight but that one still works. I took everything apart today to have a look, it's a normal halogen bulb so I replaced it with another and it still wouldn't turn on, so I then looked at the fuse box behind the battery - and found that the RH low beam fuse was blown. I replaced this one with the 15a fuse which is used for fog lights (don't know why there's a fuse for fog lights when the care doesn't have any) and reconnected everything but the headlight still didn't turn on... I'm really confused - don't know what else to try :S I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Front And Back Rotor Quote From Nissan
itpesaf replied to dFed's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
The plastic arm wrest covers can be easily resprayed. Did mine and they came out really well, just lightly sand them down to the plastic and spray 1 coat of primer, 3-4 coats of a silver arcrylic or enamel paint and 3 coats of a clear coat. Buy rotors from ebay and put them in yourself, shouldn't be too hard, plenty of diy's online. -
Hey guys just had a quick question regarding the screen. I had the English conversion done a while ago - what are the two buttons you press to get those other settings/readings? I know the guy who did it for me showed me but I've forgotten since. Ohh and also is there anyway to get a digital speed readout on the screen? Tried doing search but nothing came up

What Have You Done To Your V-Series Today?
itpesaf replied to SMOKEYV35's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I stripped the pain off my stock muffler, wet sanded it with 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit sandpaper and then polished it up. -
Some Question Before My Upgrade Week (Finally)!
itpesaf replied to itpesaf's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Ok found out what the problem was - in my excitement I had forgotten to use the washers for the 6 inner plenum bolts lol.. and because they have those plastic inner plenum spacers I had to remove everything to take the bolts out to put the washers on :S luckily it seems to have worked for now - hopefully the issue has been fixed! -

Thanks mate, I reckon i'll clean both the throttle body/maf and then do the reset and hopefully that works. Oh and i looked around the edge of the plenum and it seems like there are no folds in the gasket, and the rubber around the oil cap isn't caught in the plenum either. -

I tried the ecu reset and thing it worked. However when i tried the trottle body reset i have no idea whether it worked :S it says in the instructions that if the car stalls as soon as you try to turn it on again then it didn't work and thats what happened to me. Any tips on doing throttle body reset? I think I'm going to try cleaning my maf first to see if that helps - has anyone attempted this before? The idle issue isn't major right? edit: I might also clean my throttle body - noticed a bit of black gunk inside it. Are there any good products I can use to clean both the throttle body and MAF? -

Thanks mate! On another side note - since I installed the plenum spacer/z tube/rev-up airbox i've noticed my car idles a little low (~550-600), and sometimes when I turn it on (after the engines warmed up) the revs will drop so low that the car will turn off. It always turns on again the second time. I've gone through all the plenum bolts and tightened them up - and checked around the edge of the plenum and there seems to be no leaks. I've also checked the z-tube and the airbox and everything seems to be nice and tight. When I was taking everything apart for the install I did accidentally touched the maf sensor thing inside the maf housing, so don't know if this has something to do with it:? I guess I want to know whether the car acting like that is bad/dangerous for the engine, and whether it's a common problem after these mods? I read somewhere on another forum that the car takes a while to get used to the new mods. -
