Hey Guys any update on this? i too havd tcs slip light on. car drives fine, no hesitation, might be abit tricky in the wet, but traction control didnt exist pre r34. I still would like it fixed. returning error code 17. - Throttle control unit detects malfunction in the system (open throttle sensor harness etc.) - TCS/ABS control unit detects malfunction

This thing? Can you circle what might be stuffing up please? THANKS !

Hey Guys Just did a service on my car and noticed a TCS SLIP light come on. now from experience ive known this to occur with fault code 21 ( coilpacks ) however it aint the coilpacks as its returning fault code 17. Ive tried resetting the fault log. still comes up. I do notice however that the TCS is no longer working. there is no throttle cut-off mechanism working when i try to brek traction. Any ideas? Images would help too since im pretty new to all this. thanks guys

Hey guys My gtt runes fine except for 1 thing which sorta concerns me when i am idle and car is at operating temp the idle pops every few seconds, and does this randomly and sporatically. i have tried adjusting the idle from the side of the car ( round black phillips screw on AAC ) but all this does it raise or lower the idle rpm. i unpluged the O2 sensor and kinda helped abit but it was still there. i unscrewed the TPS and tapped it abit and it seems to either go completely mad or resolved the problem . I really dont know much abit all this so i was hope if anyone could share some knowlege ( in lamens terms ) about what it could be.. thanks in advance,,

well thats when it blows out.. at high RPM/Boost., just pops on idle, and when gearing down

So i should get better coilpacks then and stick with 1.1

so thats what it is.. a blow out.. im running stock boost

car is always "bubbling" at idle, i get these pops.. it does misfire when i hit the pedal on the way down the rpm its also misfires heaps when i plant it in second at around 5-6 rpm, im thinking coilpacks, but do i go a lower spark gap?

Hey guys Looking at doing a service on my gtt. i see so many recommendations for oil/oil filter and spark plugs not sure which way to go. Dr drift recommends castrol edge 5w30, with bcpr6es spark plugs. If anyone can concur with this, i mean is such an expensive oil needed? Would appreciate some feedback OIL= OIL FILTER= SPARKS= Thanks!
