I didnt do the count hehehe so i dont know which one is the problem. so at the moment i am waiting for it to go into limp mode (hopefully not when im on the motorway)

Hi Guys, got some major things happening on my 350GT. i was driving along this morning and suddenly 30mins into my drive the engine light, SPIN and VDC off light came on. After stopping the engine and tried firing it up again. YOu can hear the whole engine trying to start but not turning. I tried the same process again and pressed on the accelerator and the car fired up with the same set of lights coming on. Anyhow i manage to reset this by doing the ECU reset on youtube and manage to drive (and park the car) but on the way to the another undercover carpark the whole car suddenly died slowly and tried starting again and manage to do this by pressing the accelerator. And the 3 lights came on again. Can't be the battery as it is brand new (over a month old). Could it be the alternator or distributor? What is worrying me the most is when the car suddenly lost all eletrics while moving in a carpark and this could happen while im driving on the motorway? i reset the ecu and its out again. Do you guys have any ideas? regards, JT

Ok bought the car with 35k kms. i've done 75k now. tyres and wheels have done 16k kms. so you think time to go take it to pedders?

ok apart from michelins and pirelli's do you have other experience with other brands that are a little cheaper than them two? hehe

Hi All, i have a 19incher wheels and running kumho Le sport KU39 245/35/19, i find that every 5k kms i have to realign my tyres as around 5000 kms it start to make that out of alignment noise. Is this common? should i increase my profile to 40series next time to lessen the frequency of alignment? thanks JT

V35 Exhausts - Empire Performance Vs Ultrex?
INSANITI replied to Bitterchill's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I've always used Xforce and have been happy with it. The good thing about my catback xforce setup is when just cruising its not loud but when you put your foot down even I get scared of the sound. -
hahaha my mates uses this quote when we go out for a drive "time to unleash the beast" lolz I thought the rock's "daddy's gotta go to work (while breaking his cast using by flexing) was the best of the movie lolz

Hi PaulReeves, nope they don't rub (front or back). the wheels tyre size are just right for the coupe (I have a 2005 AT coupe base model I think). I didn't do a staggered setup as the car itself its costly to maintain (rego, comprehensive insurance, petrol, personalised plates lolz) so I figured 19s all round is good. I wont recommend 18s because even at 19 inch I still have a lot of fender clearance (gap). I don't have lowered suspensions. they are all stock except for catback exhaust xforce and KN filter and some performance increasing stickers. I think the coupe are made for 20's and I've seen a few on 20's and slightly lowered looks 6c! I got mine through bobjane and have kumho le sport KU39's. also I find that I have to rotate/realign my tyres every 6-7k kms. wont recommend semi slicks if its a daily drive. goodluck! apologies for late reply. Hi All, As soon as I got home last night I cleaned my wheels, using light soap and luke warm water. I then parked the car in the garage. This morning when I was driving it out of the garage the rear (more passenger size rear) felt like it has locked up. it doesn't feel like its the foot (hand) brake it felt like the brakes got stuck to the brake rotors. I don't put a lot of pressure on my foot brake so I doubt its that. I had to add a bit of acceleration as I reverse to force it to release. it seemed to work and I drove to work no problems. take note that after hosing the brake rotors it gets a bit rusty looking (slight squeak as you brake) has anyone experienced this before? are there pads in the footbrake (handbrake) that needs replacing? thanks

Keyfob Battery Replacement
INSANITI replied to INSANITI's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
does it need calibration? -
I noticed that lately it takes a while for the buttons to kick in when trying to open and close doors (and boot) using the keyfob. but once it works it just i doesnt have problems. I am guessing this is the battery on the keyfob. if i replace the battery does it need recalibration? My 2005 Skyline is 10yrs old so im guessing the battery has never been replaced. can i do this myself? or someone from like a mr mint can replace the battery? thanks in advance.

Advice For Servicing 370gt
INSANITI replied to snowysea's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Unfortunately (Nissan Dealers) they hate our cars..... I bought mine from Hunter Holden on Victoria Rd Top Ryde. I have extended warranty with them so they seem to do a good job with servicing and fixing issues. not sure how much they will charge you if you get it serviced there. Im on capped servicing since its got warranty still.
