My 2005 V35 coupe only has 1 cigarette lighter which is most of the time is limiting. I would need two at least 1 for gps and 1 for phone charging. Is it possible to http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Black-Car-Dual-2-Way-Socket-Cigarette-Power-Adapter-Lighter-Splitter-Charger/261293083858?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D163%26meid%3D4827745536789110761%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1088%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D321206499274%26 buy this and use this to split into two? according to the manual it was not advised. why was it not advised to use 1 to 2 splitter? Or should i get one installed instead? what are your experiences and thoughts on this? Thanks

What Have You Done To Your V-Series Today?
INSANITI replied to SMOKEYV35's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
everytime i go to this topic I feel happy driving a 350GT hehehe -
Scott was just reading a magazine on a modified R35 that runs on E85. Didnt realise this topic has plenty to discuss about. I normally use Vortex 98 as we go to woollies to do our groceries so hence i get 4cents off per litre. I do consume about 11.4-12litres per a hundred on 98. This is very informative (but got lost when everyone starts talking bout compression rates etc... - too technical. i just drive the car coz it makes me look good LOL). Thanks for the input. I will try BP98 next time as I do feel BP somehow has alittle more ummph!

Well the article i read was from cars guide and not specifically talking bout our skylines but were talking about modern cars. Im guess anything over year 2000 is a modern car. That is why there are forums like this to ask questions and get answers from experienced owners. Thanks for your statement though.

sometimes its just good to know...hehe Thanks for the info guys!!! fyi: my 350GT has never tasted petrol below 98ron in my care.
-
I just asked the question. coz my car had a label of unleaded. not sure what rating it was. Plus i have read somewhere that E85 mixture is ok for the car too. But i do agree with people here. i get more mileage on my cars when its on 98ron. runs better goes longer.

Im guessing its the same for 95ron?

Has anyone used e10 91 on their v35s? Our cars can use 91ron but not sure if with E10 would work.

Awesome!!! -
Nope as this is a legit exhaust. you only get drones from cheap or nasty setups (IMHO). Its actually quite. it only growls when you accelerate. When in neutral or not depressing the pedal its pretty quite. can't really tell you have an exhaust. For me i get the best of both. Loud when going quick. Quiet enough passing a copper. :-)

INSANITI replied to awsam's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Experienced this once on my other car. It was a dirty throttle body.. Felt it too on my friends turbocharged vw and corrolla... seems normal though. Slight stutter on acceleration from stop. doesnt happen on my 350gt. Im hearing enough loose panels in the car Just putting my 2cents worth -

Rattling Noise Over Bumps From Rear Of Car
INSANITI replied to INSANITI's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Update: Took it back again and finally they said the slack on the hand brake lever was hitting the plate behind the brake disc. They were saying the spring was loose as well. All they did was just cable tie the slack so it doesnt touch. Didnt hear a thing on the way home. So big smile on my face!
