When i tried tightening the park brake cable (under the foot brake pedal) the disc brakes started to have uneven marks on disc rotors when braking. Unfortunately i dont have the tools or expertise to even play around with the removal of the rims. Would i need powertools to remove and place the rims back on to make it tight?

The noise is definitely coming from the inside of the disc rotor. I wonder if i need to adjust the park brake adjuster as well?

so is it safe to adjust this? how do i know when i have done enough?

Hi All, I have this issue with my car when i go over little bumps. None can quite detect where the noise is coming from. I took it to where i got the car for warranty and pedders and they can't seem to find any issue with brakes or suspension. I did a bit of research and found some clips and images. I have a few questions? If i adjust the nut does it affect my disc brake? On the images i have found, it looks like a parking brake is a shoe type that is different to disc brake? so in other words if i adjust the adjusting nut to tighten it, it wont clamp my disc brake to the rotors? Are the disc brake and park brake pads different to each other? I have 2005 V35 and it seems pretty common issue for this model. It so annoying when you have the window down. thanks hope someone can guide me. i have been driving this car for 2yrs now and the place where i got it from has no clue!

I just noticed i have a missing cover for my right hand headlights. Its the cover when you replace a bulb so that dust wont get through inside the lights. Anyone have one for sale?

Hi, Got 2005 coupe auto and my insurance is with NRMA for $1750 a year. Who's your insurance? Mines due for another year of commitment and hoping to find someone lower. Theres no finance on the car but im a bit hesitant doing 3rd Party. What are your thoughts and who do you use? Thanks

Does anyone know the size of the petrol tank for a 2005 AT trans coupe? Everytime i fill up when the petrol gauge comes on, its around 62litres. I do about 11.4-11.9km per 100ks on 98 Octane.

When I first got mine i thought it was a problem. A friend who got his after i got mine (he has 03 mines the 05) his was a lot quieter. but can still here it at 10kph :-) Yes its a feature alright! when you hear it, it means its working lol

Its more of a rattle than a knock. just sounds like two lose plates that hit each other every bump. its coming from the rear drivers rather than where the steering is. They have checked the brakes and links on the sway bars then they said its the handbrake link. After getting the handbrake link replace it was still rattle and is definitely coming from the rear drivers. The car is warranted for 5yrs and just purchased the car this year. I am hoping they'd fix this without using my warranty because it was in the caryard's 3month warranty. Its a reputable caryard so I wont mention any names. However they dont specialise in Nissans lol. Otherwise drives great!

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. I hear a rattle when I go over little bumps on the road. Specially when driving around the city. The car is under warranty and the guys could not find anything. I suggested sway bar links and brakes and still i can hear them. Any other suggestions I could suggest when they next look at my car?

Hi All, Newbie here! got my first Skyline V35 2005 early this year and just manage to join this forum to see what else other people can convince me into doing upgrades to my car! hehehe. At the moment, I just did the basic catback exhaust and K&N filter. Tell you what that changes the whole feel of driving the car. Looking forward to learning a whole heap about the car. Took me 3 months so far not to be afraid of it. Its just damn quick!
