V(35)Powarh!

Sorry mate just typing on the phone aint my forte... anyways I have tried using the normal globes and same thing is happening. It turns on when I press the lights but not when I switch the button to door... so I've lost my auto dimming feature since I changed to led lights..

Hi guys seems like I never learn! first problem I had was with the white switch not working when I changed to led lights got that fixed and the other day I changed the led lights again this time I forgot to turn the switch to off from door mode amd I seem the led light up once now my dome light only works when I manually click in on and off but the auto dimming when door open and closes and when I lock/unlock doesnt work!! Super sad tried disconnecting battery still no luck...I've been researching and it maybe a bcm issue? Please if anyone could help itd be much appreciated havent had the best w.e tthinking about it!!! Thanks

hey guys yes thats correct i can move my strur body as well i think i may have made a mistake before cause i took it to a mechanic whom just moved the strut body up about 10-15mm hoqwever didnt touch the spring mount to match the strut at all will this do any damage? i hope i can get someone to help- out and make it easier for me to do it is confusing as i havent much knowledge on thes ebut willing to learn.... also with the spring mounts do they sit on the top of the spring or below? as i think i have mine up at the top also took the bump stop out before to make it lower...

Ok cool just one other thing will anything happen if you move the strut body up and down without making any adjustments to the spring mount? Thanks for your help

Hi Guys, I have a set of bc coilovers i installed at peddars atm the rears are a little too low, getting sick of scraping over speed bumps (dont even know why some of them are so big!) anyways i wanted to diy and raise the rears however its not a true coilover for these rear v35 coupe where strut and spring is positioned seperately.... could someone please guide me on how i would be able to raise the rears i have done research and it gets a hell of alot more confusing as i am supoosed ot match the strut with the spring? my thoughts are i juts need to adjust the strut bar up and down and that will raise and lower it? please help as i would really like to raise the car but also dont want to spend money taking it to peddars.... cheers!

Hey guys found out what the problem is after abit of playing around it was found the the switch was shot the white switch u press to turn the light on....switched sides and one was working and one wasnt so if anyone has a spare or wrecking spare pls let me know

hi guys, firstly i bought led lights off ebay they worked fine for half a yr until recently they just seem to work when they want..... not sure if the leds are too fat and not connecting properly cause they are squared chucky styled led lights for the map/dome lights .....anyways just wanted to know where i could get really good quality ones from online or off the shelves someone in sydney? also wanted to know what is wrong with my drivers side map light...i was fiddling with the led and i heard and seen a spark and it smelt pretty funny afterwards i changed the fuse cause it was burnt changed map light bulbs back to normal left side works right side doesnt is there something i broke? about to take it to the auto electrician or is it an easy fix? cheers

thanks mate, will just settle with the plastic unless they have a decal pack for em? lol guess only the headlights and tails fit but not gonna bother gonna be costly.... thats what i heard as well with the speedos...cheers

hi guys, i am after a small part for my v35 coupe i dont know if wreckers would even bother selling it lol so thought id try here if anyone has a wrecking v35 coupe or would know how i would fix the problem? I was installing my sub and amp and then realised that the plastic bit to keep rear seats in place had snapped! so im after that piece to replace otherwise any other suggestions in fixing it? Also after the passenger side sunvisor (dont think my chances are high at all) as i need one in the beige colour scheme 70th anniversary model) Thanks,

Hi Guys, I wanted to get my front bar including front lip sprayed in black as the paint has been ruffed up and theres a crack through the paint its not major but something i wanted to get fixed as its doing my head in everytime i washed my car! lol... PN-Mad thanks for your opinion mate thats what i was saying to the missus... either the s/c cause its different or get another s15 or s14/180sx or motorbike as a getting to work transport lol ill weigh up the options if thats the power people were getting its just not worth it id leave it n/a and just work on making it look better i guess... just gee'd up cause took my mates 350z tt (aps kit) for a spin = massive smile haha

Hi guys really keen on this kit, price is pretty good as well just wanted to get some more info on this. They say its a complete kit so would I be needing anything else and also how much would it cost roughly to install the kit? If this is gonna cost me 8k I will be happy to do it otherwise more than 8k will be pushing it so please feel free to give me opinions and what not... has anyone bought from rhd japan? Hey guys too the rears pads out this morning gave it a good clean and also looks like the pads were glazed? No expert but through research I tried roughing up the pads against concrete put the pads back and attempted bedding the brakes properly....the squel has gone!!! Thanks fck fingers crossed it doesnt come back although at times there is a faint squeal but ill take that hoping the pads wear inand that the squeal doesnt come back!

Hey guys I just opened them up again to check shims are there but I switched the pads from one side to the other should it matter? I just took it for a drive and its now worse was thinking of just getting new pads for the rears and sell these one....VERY FRUSTRATED Hope I fix it soon....

Hey guys I just installed a set of qfm hpx brake pads for my v35 coupe front and rear problem is im facing brake squeal atm im not too sure what the problem may be? Please help@!?? is it cause they are new and need wearing in or is there something ive done wrong? It comes and goes the squeal although I noticed that it tends to squeal more so at very low speeds like 20kms and under and it can get pretty bad at times and rather embarrassing as it attracts unwanted stares haha what is it?! Its driving me nuts or is it the pads themselves help and suggestions to fix this would be appreciated!!!
