  1. Matt I'm interested if they are still available. Please give me a call 0402837117. Mark
  2. prob cost more than man on the moon for a 1-off too
  3. Thanks Trent and Richard It's the R34 GTR engine loom I want to use. No problems yet, but 17 yo heat soaked wiring being what it is I'm looking to replace it, particularly since I already have the 34 loom. Excellent point re the coil packs, hadn't considered them yet. I seem to remember they are different to 32/33. Look forward to hearing about that. Cheers Mark
  4. Thanks Trent You mean retain the body/wiper/power portion of the R32 loom? I received this from Ray Hall re using my R32 V44 board: The same plug-in ECU is used on the R32 and R34 GTR. There is a jumper on the base board that selects either model. So based on this you can use the R34 harness. I have no idea how this harness will connect to the engine, but the ECU end is correct. Cheers
  5. Thinking about adapting an 'new' R34 GTR engine loom to an R32 GTR. Can anyone shed light on the differences? I know the R34 CAS is different, and for example you can't use an R34 Power FC on a 32 or 33 but not sure if this is because of the pin outs, the CAS (different on the R34) or if the whole lot is totally different. Being an RB26 I'd have thought an R34 loom could be made to fit with a few changes. Cheers
  6. I heard of a similar problem years ago, the cause was the diameter of the fuel lines being too small. Increasing the diameter fixed the problem. From memory it was to do with the return line in particular, presumably the fuel took longer to recirc back to the surge tank before being pushed into the line at pressure again.
  7. space monkey if you want these soon let me know, PM sent
  8. Located in Canberra. Front and rear set, 2 grooves front , 3 grooves rear. I used threaded coilover adapter sleeves so the number of grooves was not important. Also still have coilover adapters with height adjusters if required.
  9. Andrew maybe consider sending it to a shop that knows RBs? Subsequent rebuilds are painfull. Cheers
  10. i've had some success - as lame and pointless as it might seem - by emailing local MPs. remember if you want the cops to do something you have to get a polly to tell them because that's who they are responsible to. yep you'll get some motherhood statement reply about 'this government is committed etc bs bs bs' but they are also very aware that you vote. also sometimes there are operations that aren't publicised for obvious reasons and they do catch a lot of dirtbags. all it takes is something like: Dear X Recently I have been the victim of an attempted vehicle theft / break in (delete one) which occurred in a public area at x. I am aware that many of my colleagues have experienced similar events recently and it appears that while in each case the incidents are reported to Police, the prevalence of these offences is increasing and there is little evidence of affirmative action. Can you please advise what your government is doing to address this issue. Yours sincerely etc enough of these lobbing on the same MPs doorstep and it's quite likely you'll see a change of some sort. it takes all of 30 seconds of your time, so you have nothing to lose.
  11. by your sig you appear to have an RB25 head already. check out the RB30 sticky and see what power people are getting. a 25/30 will provide way more power than a rwd can handle so the extra cost of an RB26 head is not bang for $.
  12. Nice work! Does the Racepace exhaust run a complete cat?
  13. apart from my own self-serving reasons for wanting someone to make a kit like this i reckon they'd sell ok and i don't know why someone with the right contacts hasn't done it yet. hell most of us would even get away with 355mm RDA solid rotors.
  14. mate if you want to run an auction go to ebay. otherwise you're messing people around.
  15. 322mm rotor is a fact. Sorry don't know where you could find some other than Japan.
  16. Sounds good but too much brake and $ for most weekend warriors with 300 rwkw or so. How about correctly dimensioned DBA 4/5000 discs for $1k and brackets for $400/pair and we source our own F50 calipers for $1k; total $2400. You could even produce a thin 1 piece plate that rides on the GTR hub and combines as a spacer for the different stud diam 12 vs 14mm) and the different hub diameter, or provide individual spacers in the kit.
  17. Yeah but like you said Kat, old can still be awesome. Can't it? Please...? Take Sin for example... As for the photo of Dave Navara, that beard makes him appear a little ...er... Shnauzerish.
  18. John when are you going to offer us a kit based on correctly drilled and centre-hub sized Falcon GT-P 355mm x 32mm discs and adapters so we can throw on a set of cheap as chips F40/F50 Brembo calipers all the Ford boys are offloading from their barges. Those GT-P units have near identical offset to the stock Brembo disc. Surely DBA / RDA would listen to you and do us a batch of rotors.
  19. Konis no longer for sale. Bilsteins still available.
