  1. sounds just like tramlining. get them to check all the settings against stock. if OK, and there are no obvious issues with dampers or worn / loose components then a really good suspension place could try and dial it out to some extent with different settings, and tyres with harder sidewalls will help but IMHO there isn't much you can do about it.
  2. painful?
  3. You have PM
  4. Sold to Pete pending payment.
  5. Hi Paul set of 4. 3cm is not much to lower the car for the cat to be on the ground. i reckon there's a good chance they're around 30mm. assuming you don't have height adjustable dampers it might not work for you. part nos are SR210F and SR210 R. if you call a Trust dealer they might be able to tell you the exact measurements. cheers
  6. Guys These have been fitted twice, removed and put back in the box. I got them cheaply and was using them to test ride height set -up. Slightly harder and lower than stock springs but nothing Jap-spec radical. $75 to a good (Skyline) home. Kings are about $100/pair. PM me if you're interested. Cheers
  7. except a better place?
  8. someone else's?
  9. hi shane it's got a collar but as i thought the x member needs to move
  10. what's involved in doing a pump r and r in an R32 GTR with the engine in? doable within reason? those reimax gears look the goods.
  11. I think you will find that AP, Stoptech etc setups are designed to maintain stock brake torque bias etc so you don't need to change anything. Adapting F50s etc is different as they all come with the same piston sizes.
  12. konis on hold, bilsteins still available
  13. ok, i'm confused i called first in at 9.02 and sent a message to the address you specified soon after. at 9.21, by which time you'd have had the email, you were still answering questions from interested parties so clearly it wasn't sold. at 10.29 i don't have a response but you post sold pending payment. how does that work?
  14. yes it was removed. no problems until recently when the boost was increased and hence my suggestion it might be related, except that it doesn't seem to occur with other GTRs running more boost. i'll try the carby spray, hopefully its not a butterfly shaft seal.
  15. Recently got my 26/30 tuned, running about 22 psi. Just noticed at idle that there is a high pitched whistle coming from the plenum area at idle, seems to be about 1/2 - 2/3rds of the way along towards the firewall. Goes away when I apply the smallest amount of throttle. Also goes away if I spray WD40 in the general vicinity. Was wondering if it might be a blown shaft seal due to the boost - although I bet there's RB26s running more boost than that with no problems. Anyone had this before? Cheers
  16. I was intending to go with Nistune on a >300rwkw 26/30 but figured that after $450 for the ecu, $700 on two Z32s and $650 on a good ebc I was over the cost of the Vipec board + mac valve. Even with one Z32 it's close in cost. I don't have to worry about AFMs, and also get overboost protection and some other features. It was the $ and overboost protection that made my mind up. And if your tuner likes Vipec it's also a plus to stick with that, although for a 5 hour trip to Sydney I'd say (having had 2 Vipec tunes, one of which was by a proclaimed Vipec specialist, but neither of which was very good) go to Hitman in Penrith, leave it for 2-3 days, pay your $1250 and come away with a great tune - power and driveability - as well as emissions certification. Just my 2c.
  17. got the new FMIC in?
  18. Kat are you running -7s?
  19. what type of exhaust? did you dyno it?
