Canberra Grammar formal run to the National Museum - queue to the drop off was about 1km long had some damn nice machinery. convertible 325i, convertible AMG 55 and audi RS4 in front, two convertible ferraris behind. and did anyone in my group get a pic of the GTR sandwiched by all that eurotrash? of course not!

  10. if it's a rattly knock it's the pillow balls, if it's kind of muffled it's the shocks.
  11. Geoff's head is from Victoria. You can't buy a PFC for it, goes well enough without anyway.
  12. Any dyno operated by Jesus Christ has my vote. Wait up, that's Glen! Don't know Daniel but I can vouch for Glen - smart mechanic and nice bloke.

  14. just saved me hours of fault tracing...couldn't figure out why i had power one minute then nothing. or...did i...? you know the story. anyway thanks for the tip on the switch, all fixed. SAU comes through again
  15. thanks everyone for the input. Geoff's explanation is what i understood to be the case based on the effect i'd expect 'lag' to have in this sense and why it makes sense that the 800 sards have a slower response time than 700s. so...correct me if i'm wrong but lag duration is neither good nor bad, it just needs to compensated for correctly.
  16. only with the engine out though - if yer usin' twins. after my turbo fiasco and having to remove them because one of the 'çertified good' ones went to lunch permanently i went to braided. admittedly i'm using long waste gate dumps ie trust style and that complicated things but there was no way those bundy numbers were going back in the same place. mind you i was not compromising about keeping constant radius and that contributed.
