  1. R34 GTR HKS Filter Kit with brackets. Not sure if it fits an R32 but might fit 33, or modify to suit. $110 inc registered post. Needs one new filter. sold R32 GTR Blitz SUS Filter Kit no brackets. Note one of the filters has two tiny splits. $120 inc registered post. K & N pods. Part number RR3003. $89 each at Autobarn. $30 each inc registered post. Open to REASONABLE offers on some items.
  2. MINERAL OIL for the run in. i used penrite 10w-40 as it was the closest weight mineral oil i could find.
  3. Koni R32 GTR rebound and height adjustable sport dampers bought new about 2 years / 10000km ago. Needless to say no leaks etc. Rears revalved by Toperformance to make them marginally softer on rebound. Dampers with lower spring seats (stock style) only, no springs or hats. $1000+ new. The ride is firm but nowhere near that of most Jap spec stuff. Selling these for another system that better suits my current needs. $550 inc registered postage in Aust. Open to offers but lowballs will be acknowledged appropriately. Pics up for those who asked. Now $500. Cheers
  4. Agree with all the above but get it dyno'd too, I did before I bought my 32 as it verified AFRs, boost and power was normal. Cheap comfirmation for a $80 power run.
  5. mine has std cams and inj, with a pfc and exhaust, and R34 N1s, and was still climbing at 7000 when we stopped it. 267 rwks @ 10psi.
  6. Gunmetal R32 GTR in Fyshwick around midday near Autobarn. Supra in Jerrabomberra, not the usual Supra silver something much nicer, vents in front of the rear wheels. Seriously nice looking car.
  7. ideal seat company in melbourne are recaro agents
  8. from memory under $200 each
  9. agree 100%. talk to Jim B re your needs and he'll give you some options. i learned quite a lot talking to him about why pivot points etc in the clutch design are critical in making a good strong clutch not drive like a dog. i eventually decided on an option - he took my stock GTR pressure plate and gave me back a ''full monty'' with an organic plate. stock pedal pressure but quicker uptake and slightly less travel. still easily modulated though. so far held 267 rwkw on an RB26/30 and easy in traffic.
  10. Attempted Theft Of My Baby, Canberra city and i thought this was about a dingo trying to take someone's GTR
  11. Hi Roy; so you'll be selling caliper adapters, calipers and rotors? with 340/343 mm rotors, I assume the caliper adapters will be for that size? i want to run 355s.
  12. when Proengines did mine it was drilled. that said, it's quite a fiddly job to get everything lined up correctly. also could it be that the machine shop hasn't measured the existing hole and studs and is making assumptions about the sizes?
  13. 9.5 ish stock, 15 without the restrictor. don't know if Pete's dyno is optimistic or not, but 212 rwkw from a GTR with those mods seems fine to me. a VDO boost gauge (good enough for the Gamballa Avalanche, good enough for me) costs bugger all and no more guessing. got mine from Premier Instruments in Dickson.
  14. Due to the plastic wheel arch guard I'm not sure what the problem would be from NSF tyre? I can see that on the 32 GTR there would be an issue with spray coming in through the vent in the front bar but I'd counter that by making a shield. Any thoughts on feeding the two AFMs from one big filter?
  15. OK here's a question for the airflow gurus, Geoff that means you. The 26/30 will not allow use of the standard airbox in the R32 GTR easily. Obvious choice is to use pods but extra height of the RB30 makes it quite difficult to accomodate pods with any kind of meaningful airbox. I'm thinking of feeding both AFMs by having them draw air from the back of one big arse pod filter, which could be accomodated by cutting a hole in the area immediately below the airbox. The filter area would be ample, and construction of the airbox would be relatively easy. If you look on the SSS Automotive website you'll see that their blue Improved Production car runs this type of system. Any thoughts / ideas on this approach?
  16. I do consider myself fortunate, experience has shown it's definately not the norm!
