I’ve owned this car for 12 years after buying it from an importer who intended to keep it for himself. He ended up spending more time in Japan than he intended and decided to sell it. Initially my daily driver for 3 years and 50k faultless km. Never tracked. As you can see it’s had significant money and effort spent on it over time to make it fast and reliable. Effort required to make the 3l bottom end fit properly was significant as it's not a drop-in proposition in a GTR, but the result was excellent. When the stroker motor went in it became a fair weather/ weekend car. The price is high but the quality is there and the value of the spares is significant, particularly the suspension / loom / oil cooler and rims. You simply couldn’t build this for anywhere near the asking price. Jim at CRD called it ‘as good a street car as you’d ever want’. Everyone who's been allowed to work on this car has commented on how straight it is. $34k firm or consider trade for low km well maintained late S3 R8 Clubsport only. Located just north of Canberra in NSW. Pics to follow. This car at this price isn’t for everyone and I’m no hurry to sell so please no low ballers, timewasters or tyre kickers thanks. Receipts for most work. Don’t really want to part company with it after all the development work I’ve put into it but I just don’t use it anymore. Please PM me if you’re genuine, interested and have assured funds.
  2. IIRC the R32 GTR plug shape was compatible with the Z32 igniter and the wires were swapped around in the R32 plug, so I only needed the igniter. Well under $200 from memory.
  3. Richard You could try a 300ZX igniter. Ran one on mine for a while but you need to find someone who knows how to switch the loom wires to accommodate the ZX unit, it's a small change and I'm pretty sure Glen knows how to do it. Fraction of the cost of the OEM GTR unit. That said, it doesn't seem to be very popular and I've only seen one other car - local heavily modified R33 GTR - that runs it so maybe there are issues I didn't experience. Cheers

  11. Any issue with punishing igniter earth circuits with wasted spark?
  12. ATI just announced this if it helps anyone contemplating a trigger ATI Performance Products is proud to introduce four new Super Damper shell and complete damper combinations with integrated steel trigger options that are compatible with the new AEM Infinity and other stand alone engine management systems. These fully CNC-machined trigger shells will be available on 6-inch and 7-inch Super Dampers with a 6-rib serpentine option for both. The integrated 24-tooth reluctor wheel eliminates the need for separate trigger wheels that can come loose, and offers more accurate readings. These shells can be ordered installed on a new damper or retrofitted on your current ATI Super Damper.
  13. So is it fair to say the only advantage of the Tarzan controllers over others such as the ebay and Ruzic controllers is the speed at which the ATTESSA actuates? No other bonuses?

  21. Steering wheel shroud arrived today thanks Aaron. Great packaging too. Cheers
  22. Thanks for the call and tracking number Aaron I'll let you know when it gets here. Cheers.
  23. I'd like to know where my steering wheel shroud is thanks, you promised to send the registered tracking number twice in the last week but haven't, and the part hasn't arrived even though you claim to have sent it last week. Now you say its been returned 'unsigned for'. It normally takes 3 days for stuff to get here from Sydney but somehow in 5 days it's managed to be sent, get here, be turned around by the PO and come all the way back? POs hold unsigned for items for at least 5 days. And you're not answering your phone...
