I've got a front strut brace - apparently a good thing, not driven the car without it to compare. I understand rear strut braces do bugger all. There is another type that hugs the floor pan / trans tunnel behind the front seats and is fixed to the lower seat belt mounts on each side. Has anyone experienced a difference with these? And finally there is the type that bolts between the chassis rails underneath, like a web. Anybody used one of them? Cheers guys Mark

I know a guy who had chronic problems with his PFC and found loose wiring in the controller. Unlikely but it might be worth as look.

Agree with that bit, but I understand they can be costly to set up as the PFC has no ready made map for them.

Hi Guys; Just wondering if anyone has compared standard R32 and R34 GTR dumps. No doubt the R34 ones are quite a bit better but how much exactly? I'm looking for no more than about 300 rwkw and want to keep a stock look. For that matter I'm not 100% certain the R34 dumps will fit correctly on an R32, anyone know for sure? I'm aware of other options such as HKS and trust dumps etc. Grateful for any input. Regards

Good one Roy. Sounds like you've got this issue by the scruff of the neck. Please let us know what you find out, this thread is one of the good ones where we get to the bottom of it.

The clip is on the outer radius of the caliper. It is held in place by the two long steel pins ~ 5mm diam that go through the outer radius from side to side and are held in with cotter pins. The clip sits under the pins and is squeezed against the outer edge of the pad backing plates. It's no different to the standard ones other than the shape. Re a previous thread I don't think that Brembo make anti squeal shims. Mintex make universal stick on ones. As per my previous thread changing from 5000 to 4000 discs cured the squeal with Ferodo 2500 pads and no shims. Quiet as a church mouse. Show it to a brake shop, they'll tell you if you have them or not.
