  1. Yes they did, my thoughts exactly, but I think they'll easily use it on someone else's if not mine. I told them not to go ahead until I find out what's happening. I actually do trust their judgement but I still want to know what the issue is. Ash I did see a thread in which I think you suggested there was conjecture around whether a Nismo pump is the same as a stock Nissan one but a third of the price? What pump are you running on the GTR?
  2. Tried to talk to Jim today but he wasn't around. They've gone ahead and ordered the 044, giess it's what they're used to but I told them not to install until they can explain what's going on. Hopefully find out tomorrow.
  3. Thanks for the input everyone. Lol yes everything was fine until the -5s and cams came long...-7s were always on boost and falling over by 6750 rpm with stock cams. Adj cam gears made little difference. About 300rwkw on a very conservative tune. I thought rule of thumb was roughly 1cc/hp so 600cc injectors should be good for 600hp/447kw at the fly. Assuming that's not totally wrong they should be good for 350rwkw? I'm not keen to go over that as I want longevity.
  4. Hey Marko Saw your thread re in tank fuel pumps and the Pierberg. At what pressure does it flow 360 lph? I've seen the 044 quoted at 200 and 300, but the 200 was at 5 bar and I think the Nismo's 276 lph was at 3 bar. But yeah as others have suggested I need to find out the problem first, I'd have thought 600cc inj would be close to maxing if the Nismo pump can't keep up. I'll have a talk to Jim tomorrow to find out what's happening. Cheers
  5. It's about 3 years old and has about 5000 km on it so I suspect tiredness probably isn't the issue. I haven't done the wiring conversion so I'm wonder if it's a volt drop problem. And sorry my bad, they're recommending 044. Only other thing I can think of is that the Nismo purples are the issue although they should be good for 600hp or so at the fly?
  6. G'day Car is being tuned and I've been told the Nismo pump is running out of puff. Recommendation is to fit a 040 in tank. Anyone here know what power a Nismo pump starts to struggle at? Searched but not much info. Cheers
  7. everything still here lots of interest no one serious yet
  8. Brad The N1 pump is still for sale. PM me and we can arrange something.
  9. Tom Still available. They'll fit all 32/33/34 GTR manifolds. I had them on an R32.
  10. Dibs on buying it after you get bored with it
  11. Hi everyone Got some gear for sale here open to offers on the turbos but no low balls please. PM me if you're interested. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/364874-gtr-r34-n1-7-turbos-and-n1-oil-pump/page__p__5821606__hl__pump__fromsearch__1#entry5821606
  12. -7 Turbos, hot side ceramic coated, reco'ed by GCG 5k km ago, with adjustable wastegate actuators, always run with pre-filter to avoid contamination. Max 18 psi and have made 305 rwkw on a 26/30. No damage to wheels, just no pics as the photos were taken for me. Selling because I need larger units. Note the dumps in the pics are not included. HPC coating and r&r of the housings was $600 alone, plus adjustable actuators. Can be inspected in Western Sydney. $1900 ono plus postage. Happy to negotiate but no lowballs please folks I don't have to sell them. N1 Oil pump 5k km old, run with a crank collar and ATI balancer, never been on the limiter and never been over 7250 rpm. $180 firm plus postage. Can also be inspected in Western Sydney. Consider swapping for R34 GTR 3.5 ratio front and rear diffs in excellent condition plus cash my way. Any questions please PM. Thanks.
  13. Might be missing something but isn't the advantage with an ebc that it's either on or off, so it lets nothing through until the pre set limit is reached and so there's no creep. Wastegates are sprung devices so by definition there's elasticity so if they're set to be fully open at say 20 psi they're likely to be part open at 18. Hence the creep.
  14. So apart from Nitto being cheaper and Tomei being adjustable, are there any other reasons you all went the way you did when choosing your pumps? For those that have a Tomei, how often do you adjust your pressure setting?
  15. are those dyno charts at the crank or at the wheels?
  16. and you know this only because they have children...?
  17. are you running the rubber cam sprocket cover gasket and the 3 aluminium inserts? if not you'll contunue to have problems.
  18. OK not sure if I've missed something but I've never heard of a stock RB26 pump failing. If it's the case that they don't, why not run an enlarged sump, oil restrictor and stock pump?
