  1. LOL forgot to mention I already did that. They state that the springs are 'about 20% stiffer' which doesn't really tell me anything. If the ride in my car was 20% harsher it'd be pretty uncomfortable. Maybe the harshness is overdamping but in a car with 70k km (?) the dampers are possibly stuffed so I assume it's the springs that are causing the firm ride.
  2. Donnellan's the Tyremen in Melbourne do them also. New TE37 about $900/wheel in 17x9.
  3. Does anyone know what the difference is between Whiteline and standard spring rates for an import R32 GTR ? It would be nice to get an idea of what change if any I could expect going to Whiteline springs. Thanks for any input Regards
  4. Beauty, thanks for the response guys.
  5. Guys; I've read the threads on track driven GTR sumps but can't find a discussion of the merits of, for example, JUN versus Tomei versus Performance Metalcraft etc. Among those of you that have used baffles, are there any thoughts on this from a design perspective? There is also not much I can find on winged sumps. I know people do run winged and baffled sumps (as I understand the Gibson car did) and it'd be silly to not put wings on the sump while it was out to get baffled. Might there be drawbacks in winging the sump on a car that only sees the track occassionally? For example, does the oil stay too cool if you run wings and a cooler? Unlikely perhaps but that's the kind of thing I'm thinking about. Thanks for any feedback.
  6. Yes the M126, not a perfect copy but reasonably close in real life. When I enquired they were around $1700 in 17x9.
  7. G-MAX make a wheel that looks similar to the TE37. Try Autojoy in P'matta but you'll prob pay over the odds there.
  8. Sheared OFF??!! Remind me not to get into an arm wrestle with you. I don't mean to questioning your judgement in any way but might there be another problem that caused the shearing? I can understand them coming loose from the hub or cross threading etc but I've never seen a wheel stud shear off before - even with a big ass rattle gun going berserk to the point that the nut cant be undone with an extension bar. After all we are talking about some pretty serious size studs in most cases. Then again if they were replaced already with inferior quality stuff, perhaps before you had the car, no wonder.
  9. Continental are a Euro brand, they are quite widely used over there and can be found on some top-end models. They also make motorbike tyres. Not to be confused with Continental Cup a Soup. Then again if you smell chicken noodle after a burn out...
  10. Obvious question but are they a street or track pad? Do your rotors look really glazed?
  11. Couldn't agree more, I went to St George tyre service and saved about $400/4 tyres compared to what I could get here. A word of warning though, other distributors hate places like them and Tempe etc, if you have a problem like I did - one tyre out of round - local distributors won't touch you as they maintain these tyres are parallel imports etc. It's still worth it in my opinion, just exercise some caution.
  12. No, I'm saying You won't get it to work while the car is stationary unless you put it into diagnostic mode which is not straightforward.
  13. Eagle are good I understand. Try Advan in Sydney and cop the cost of freight, should be bugger all. I think Doughboy has some in the FS section trader ads. Good luck
  14. Hi Kit; I'm interested in the NPGs. You have an email.
  15. I'd be in a group buy no problem, but I'm after the long wastegate pipe version.
  16. Hi Octane Racing in Sydney have them as well as fittings for different fuel rails. I guess you've done your homework, are you sure you need one?
  17. Try GCG, last time I was there they had dumps like the CES ones but I didn't take much notice.
  18. $2300 ? Luxury! I was quoted $3500 for R32 GTR coilovers from Whiteline, admittedly including springs.
  19. I've got some Blitz SUS stainless filters listed in the FS section that will probably fit if you're interested. Regards
  20. Thanks Guys; I've been through the galleries, a good start. Enrico I appreciate the offer, will PM you with an email address. Cheers
  21. Hi Lawrence. Try doing a search, this question was asked some time ago and it resulted in a longish thread, there are also related threads including one that has an article by a Garrett angineer on design. Unfortunately no evidence of anyone having done comparative dyno testing, some suggest that there is little if any gain to be had. I'd say if you are doing the turbos anyway go for it. CES in Queensland make nice stuff and can give you a dyno figure for improvement using their pipes but they haven't compared their stuff to anything else.
  22. Does anyone know if a website or such exists that has images (lots) of R32 GTRs with different wheels?
  23. Advan will sell you split Trust all in one split dump/engine pipes with long waste gate pipes for about $1400, Autobarn can get the same thing for about $1100. CES do some short ones as well as the Trust all in one style which is bloody beautiful but about $1900.
