  1. I don't want to hijack this thread....but here's the link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/323821-fs-vip-wald-streifen-19-rims-for-sale/page__p__5443209__hl__dualis__fromsearch__1#entry5443209
  2. I've bought a few sets of lug nuts in my lifetime.... MX5 -> RAYS Dura Nuts in anodised blue on my gunmetal grey Buddyclub P1 Rims. Never go an anodised colour again as they fade in the sun... Dualis -> Had the D1 Spec ones in anaodised gunmetal (they were originally on my V35). These are quite well made but don't have a lock nut in the set. So I ended up buying another set of RAYS Dura Nuts in black for quite cheap. Don't know if they are fakes, but comparing to my MX5 ones, they seem real enough with all the stamping, threading, etc of a high quality standard. However, the best set of lug nuts that I have bought yet to date would be the PROJECT KICS R40 NEO Chrono ones. They are a 2 piece construction where a 'washer' is embedded into the lug. This means that when you tighten the lug, the lug wont grind into the rims and vice versa. And they look super-sexy in my opinion. If you have a bit more money, give the PROJECT KICS R40s a go and you won't go back...They are currently on my WRX.
  3. yeah...$5k...that's a good cost base to start with...i would have bought it...
  4. no...just a stock standard wrx...they now come in widebody... excuse the flashing light...this is my site car...
  5. Note to most JDM car owners - get over the notion of other drivers wanting to race u....if u dun pay attention, u won't even notice. when I had my GT-8 in VIP style and blinged, i thought i was "King D1ck" and thought everyone wanted to race me...with the extreme hooning laws in VIC, if u fall for the trap of wanting to race, it won't be long b4 u end up in trouble. Having said this, now that I own a new widebody MY11 WRX, i've noticed ppl wanting to race me. I better remind myself of the 1st paragraph I just wrote...LOL
  6. Mate, it's been a while since I've been to the forum...Do a search on my posts...I did do my sway bars for my GT-8, a very noticeable difference...the brand was stillen from the USA...and by the way, I drive a MY11 WRX now...sorry to say this, but a better car overall...
  7. pay for $1300 for a CVT oil change. Will fix 'most' issues...Search the threads for more info - I have posted heaps of CVT stuff here when I owned a GT8....The guy I sold my car to hasn't had any trouble with my ex-car since he bought it. Sometimes it's just a lucky draw with jap imports...You may get a super-reliable car, or a super-lemon.... For the same reason, I am out of the Jap Import car scene...
  8. thanks for referencing my post... if u go for 350z suspension on a sedan, you will get some camber on the rear. However, it's not very bad and shouldn't give u camber wear on the tyres. It does make cornering a bit more stable. I do suggest, that when u drop it, to go a bit wider on the rims. I would go no more than 8.5"...it will improve the handling of the sedan dramatically around corners... Of course, my advice is just that - do your own research. But then again, the GT8 standard suspension gives a really good and refined ride. I noticed what I was missing out on when I reinstalled my GT8 suspension when I sold the car. I'd probably wouldn't got for 350z suspension in hindsight...but then again, I don't own a V35 anymore...
  9. Stephen T...yes, a Dualis +2...full leather, full panoramic ceiling glass, auto everything...+ 7 seats when I need it... Rianto should hv bought a Dualis... To be honest, I don't miss my V35 one bit....
  10. hmm...although I sold my V35, I am still a Nissan fan...
  11. Hang on guys...don't bag stillen....it was bolt on!!! Took us 5 hrs to install as we were not familiar with the process but it took 2.5hrs to remove... it was easy installing and easy uninstalling...don't know what went wrong with your install... and yes, i would stick to the US aftermarket stuff...reason?? VERY SIMPLE.....there are more aftermarket parts for the V35 (G35) in the US than there are for the V35 in the JDM...The Nissan turbo fans never did really accept NA engines as a good platform and stuck to the RBs and SRs..... So to sum it up, if you want to go aftermarket for your V35, go for Stillen....
  12. rims now not for sale.... spent some $$$ and got them cleaned, polished..and look fab... they r now on my dualis...with pirelli euforia run-flats and have also got a tyre pressure monitoring system fitted... offsets fit the new car damn well....couldn't be more happy...
  13. indeed....it hurted me a lot..and still hurts....check out my listing a few weeks ago...bargain basement price...now i just drive a shitty nissan dualis....lol
