I don't want to hijack this thread....but here's the link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/323821-fs-vip-wald-streifen-19-rims-for-sale/page__p__5443209__hl__dualis__fromsearch__1#entry5443209

I've bought a few sets of lug nuts in my lifetime.... MX5 -> RAYS Dura Nuts in anodised blue on my gunmetal grey Buddyclub P1 Rims. Never go an anodised colour again as they fade in the sun... Dualis -> Had the D1 Spec ones in anaodised gunmetal (they were originally on my V35). These are quite well made but don't have a lock nut in the set. So I ended up buying another set of RAYS Dura Nuts in black for quite cheap. Don't know if they are fakes, but comparing to my MX5 ones, they seem real enough with all the stamping, threading, etc of a high quality standard. However, the best set of lug nuts that I have bought yet to date would be the PROJECT KICS R40 NEO Chrono ones. They are a 2 piece construction where a 'washer' is embedded into the lug. This means that when you tighten the lug, the lug wont grind into the rims and vice versa. And they look super-sexy in my opinion. If you have a bit more money, give the PROJECT KICS R40s a go and you won't go back...They are currently on my WRX.

V35 Atracting Boy Racers
siu_loong_bao replied to AlexanderWilde's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Note to most JDM car owners - get over the notion of other drivers wanting to race u....if u dun pay attention, u won't even notice. when I had my GT-8 in VIP style and blinged, i thought i was "King D1ck" and thought everyone wanted to race me...with the extreme hooning laws in VIC, if u fall for the trap of wanting to race, it won't be long b4 u end up in trouble. Having said this, now that I own a new widebody MY11 WRX, i've noticed ppl wanting to race me. I better remind myself of the 1st paragraph I just wrote...LOL -
Sway Bars For V35 Sedan And Coupe
siu_loong_bao replied to nissan rules's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Mate, it's been a while since I've been to the forum...Do a search on my posts...I did do my sway bars for my GT-8, a very noticeable difference...the brand was stillen from the USA...and by the way, I drive a MY11 WRX now...sorry to say this, but a better car overall... -
pay for $1300 for a CVT oil change. Will fix 'most' issues...Search the threads for more info - I have posted heaps of CVT stuff here when I owned a GT8....The guy I sold my car to hasn't had any trouble with my ex-car since he bought it. Sometimes it's just a lucky draw with jap imports...You may get a super-reliable car, or a super-lemon.... For the same reason, I am out of the Jap Import car scene...

V35 Sedan Suspension
siu_loong_bao replied to smeghead's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
thanks for referencing my post... if u go for 350z suspension on a sedan, you will get some camber on the rear. However, it's not very bad and shouldn't give u camber wear on the tyres. It does make cornering a bit more stable. I do suggest, that when u drop it, to go a bit wider on the rims. I would go no more than 8.5"...it will improve the handling of the sedan dramatically around corners... Of course, my advice is just that - do your own research. But then again, the GT8 standard suspension gives a really good and refined ride. I noticed what I was missing out on when I reinstalled my GT8 suspension when I sold the car. I'd probably wouldn't got for 350z suspension in hindsight...but then again, I don't own a V35 anymore... -
Stephen T...yes, a Dualis +2...full leather, full panoramic ceiling glass, auto everything...+ 7 seats when I need it... Rianto should hv bought a Dualis... To be honest, I don't miss my V35 one bit....

hmm...although I sold my V35, I am still a Nissan fan...

Hang on guys...don't bag stillen....it was bolt on!!! Took us 5 hrs to install as we were not familiar with the process but it took 2.5hrs to remove... it was easy installing and easy uninstalling...don't know what went wrong with your install... and yes, i would stick to the US aftermarket stuff...reason?? VERY SIMPLE.....there are more aftermarket parts for the V35 (G35) in the US than there are for the V35 in the JDM...The Nissan turbo fans never did really accept NA engines as a good platform and stuck to the RBs and SRs..... So to sum it up, if you want to go aftermarket for your V35, go for Stillen....

Ok dudes, sold the V35 GT-8 Sedan and now my exhaust is for sale... This is a *rare* item imported from the USA by me brand new....it costed $1200USD, $300USD to ship, $120USD for GST, $300USD to clear Aust Customs...so a very expensive system!!! For all you sedan owners, this is an extremely rare opportunity to own an almost new system fitted less than 7000kms ago....No damage to the system and no dents! The exhaust sounds tough on high revs like a N/A engine should sound! And it is not a loud deep bass noise, it is kind of a mid-tone sound...Under low revs/daily driving, it is slightly noisier than stock... I am chasing $1100 pickup. If you want to view it, you better arrange an inspection prior to this Saturday 31st July 10 as it will be coming off the car (buyer doesn't want it)...And then go into storage. It is a very simple bolt-in and fits 100% perfect! You can also adjust how much the muffler tips stick out as one of the piping flanges are 'slip-in' joints (as seen in pics, I have the muffler tips a little bit sticking out)... Due to urgency, don't sms or email - just call me 0403 347 739 (I may not answer on Friday night as I will be driving interstate from ACT to VIC to removed the exhaust on Saturday)...Only sms if my phone is out of a service area in the countryside somewhere... Here are some pics of the system being installed: more details can be found on the Stillen USA website. once you read up on the system, you'll understand why i went to extreme lengths to get it!!! I could have bought a Jap brand, but I am sure you all know the V35 performance market in the USA leads that of the Jap Market when it comes to V35s!!! And plus, the sedn exhausts are harder to source! Most of them are 350Z exhausts with a pipe extender to make the system fit for coupes only (and not sedans)...

Nicko...unless you are coming to pick up the exhaust and/or rims, it ain't gonna happen as I am not posting...given that I have relocated to ACT and the stuff is in VIC.... If you are serious about it, you can arrange for a courier to pickup from VIC. I am just about to list the stuff in a new thread too.... -
Calling All Vic V35 Gt-8 Cvt Owners!
siu_loong_bao replied to siu_loong_bao's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I think what RamiV35 is referring to is the timing belt...There is no timing belt as it's chain-driven=metal belt...That is for the engine mate... The CVT is for the transmission - where the gears are (or lack thereof as it's a CVT)... I didn't have to change my CVT oil, but I was considering driving it for 3+ more years...so did it. And now, I just sold it..so wasted $1300... -
