    Similiar problem with my 33, it could be the g-sensor under the center console,or the capacitors in the hicas computer, because of there age they start leaking fluid.i replaced the g-sensor with a digital one from nengun about $500 and had the local tv repair man replace the capacitors in the computer for about $70.

    It was on the car when i bought it,has a Nismo stickerand the car is loaded with Nismo parts,so your guess is as good as mine.

    U can buy direct replacement digital g sensors through stores like Nengun to replace the old analog ones,but they are about $600.00.

    My first car my Dad bought me a '63 Datsun what i thought at the time was a ranch wagon but i think is a Bluebird.Mine was green and was nick named the green frog.Four on the column,1200 motor,rear sliding windows and fold down tailgate.2 door.I think the model was a 220.

    Thanx Terry,but the interest was right across the age group's,with comment's like "mummy look it's a race car,oh i like the colour" to "dad look at this, keep going son it's jap".The good thing was a few stopped and wanted to talk about the car.

    The only Skyline at the local car show "The Summerland Sports and Classic Car Club",but there was plenty interest in my car.

    My R33 had a similiar problem hicas light on,no power steering,found there was a couple of leaking capacitors in the hicas computer,had them replaced by the local tv repair man,problem fixed.

    Paul how does the clutchless gear change system work? Never heard of one of those before I'am still trying to work it out myself Dimi,this box is under the drivers seat this is under the parcel shelf in the boot this switch seems to operate it on the dash switch to the right and a buzzer sounds,hold to the left and the motor looses rev's.

    nismo part's: exhaust coilovers suspension link's carbon fibre wing flap & pillar garnish intercooler & piping front bar oil cooler inlet duct radiator cap gear knob wheels & nut's instument cluster led tail lights oil cap Mines chip, Hks F-con & evc,5 zigen clutchless gear change system & led reverse light. Motor is still standard on 1bar of boost,236kw's on the gt auto dynopack.thanks Iron chef.

    Thanks Terry,It certainly does.1st anniversary today ,Good Friday,it's been twelve months since Alicia at iron chef rang me to say it was mine.When i picked it up from japlink it just blew me away.The auction photo's just didn't do it justice.
