i have a hks bov on my intercooler pipes but no standard bov.. it doesnt ever stall but from time to time it back fires a little bit.. I think its because the spring on the afta market bov is too tight.. Anyways mate, if ur not experiencing any backfiring ro stalling issues u shouldn't have anything to worry abt.. btw, is it making the flutter sound?? ie wooott psch psch psch ?!? There's been heaps of threads in the last two weeks abt this issue mate, jus search through the 'forced induction section' and u should find a few links discussing the topics!! Rob

ok.. i had an afta market BOV (HKS), with cooler and standard air box.. i got no flutter what so ever.. Recently i bought a afta market pod, and the flutter is amazingly LOUDD! at 1500rpm u hear the flutter go.. im only rnning 7psi with all these mods.. is it bad for my turbo? I also have 3" exhaust from turbo back and a s-afc.. there has been so much talk about this topic that itts confusing me.. Flutter does sound way better.. btw, is there a way to check if ur standard BOV is blocked off, and this may seem really dumb, but where is the standard BOV located? lol

my car makes the flutter only just when i installed my pod. before it wasnt doing it. had no probs with stalling or back firing. i havea n afta market bov and intercooler and safc.. is it bad? should i get my standrad bov working again.

yeah but there was like 4 pages of ppl saying that it was spinning backwards and everyone was agreeing..

the sound goes woosh shh shh shh shh... Never stalled on me, and no idle problems or nothing.. People say on the nissan silvia forums that the flutter sound is becuase when u take ur foot off the accelarator the turbine wheel spins backwards thus cutting back through the air making the flutter sound, or something like that iforgot exactly.. im so confused now lol..

i do have an after market bov set up, BLITZ, as well as a front mount intercooler... is that ok?? im not fussed abt the sound so is it ok?

yeah thas right... try not to have a heavy right foot so u dont use as much boost.. I had the same problem when i first bought my car.. its turbo with mild mods (front mount, bov, filter, s-afc and i do abt 260-320 on 10psi.. jus suburb driving

am i getting the what the flutter sound is?? lol! i know it may seem like a stupid question.. because the flutter sound happened when i put my new air filter on.. does that mean i should take it off??? i dont wanna wreck my turbo

my car makes the fluttering sound just recently... it just happened after i upgraded my air filter form the standard box.. beofre i did change the air filter to a trust (airinx), it was just making thew woooshhh sound... now with the filter on, it goes tshh tshh tshh tshh... is that a bad thing?

its white with out a dent on it apart from a minor crack on the front bar which can be fixed for abt 150 bucks.. also has a sony 6CD stacker.. 109,000 original kms...

hey guys, i have an R33 gtst with a TEIN adjustable suspension kit.. Anyways, i keep hearing a rattling sound from my rear tyres when i go on bumpy roads, and its really starting to piss me off big time.. I've been to two different suspension and brake specialists and they said they couldn't find the problem.. They've put the car up on the hoist and could not find anything wrong with the suspension.. At first they thought it was the exhaust rattling but it wasnt.. they checked everything and they couldnt find anything rubbing on anything so im left clueless.. they said to remove my seats and check the struts on my rear wheels but i dont know how to do it or even if its worth doing.. The car has been lowered a little bit. is this a common problem with having aftermarket suspension? Thanks guys! Rob...

Pulse Auto was on A Current Affair under a different as they were caught doing the most dodgy jobs on cars.. I have friends who have ordered body kits from there and havent got them till 4 months later.. Also, i've heard that they drive the customers' cars just for fun too..
