  1. Awesome pipes! Although the specs aren't the same as mines, just the diameter. The mines pipe have one wrap around the other to have the same length for better response.
  2. Hey Sean, Just wondering how come I didn't see any results of your car? Did it run? I came late, so I'm not sure. Great day! Nice to meet a few people
  3. Pretty sure it is just a Spec R with Spec S badges. Although, how come you say the km's are wound back? Are the indications of this? I'm looking for an s15 for my friend at the moment too, so trying to find out all info possible.
  4. Costco is the best priced ones as I see. I bought the 1kg bag from Bunnings, comes with 9 of them but very large (maybe 40x40) for $10. Costco was right next door, but I don't have a membership card lol.
  5. What's so bad about being a student? I know heaps of students who have owned/own a bnr34!
  6. Does that mean when police pull you over they will be asking, "license and registration please"?
  7. Wait what... You lost 80hp!!!? I'm guessing you went from a 90mm to a 80mm and lost that much? Wow that's 60kw.
  8. Oh wait, I just found out from a friend that Bunnings has 1kg bag of Microfiber Towels for $9.98 lol I'm gonna go get them!
  9. I'm looking at buying these! $1 each seems good, 192 sold. But I don't want to be the first person to try and unfortunately leave scratches lol http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Car-Auto-Care-Microfiber-Cleaning-Towel-Washing-Cloths-/330620221804?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cfa80396c
  10. Hi guys, Just wondering about cheapest place to purchase microfiber towels in bulk (10 pack or so)? I have found lots of places on ebay, but are you guys able to tell me if they are actually microfiber? And are they any good? Otherwise, where could you recommend going for cheap bulk buy of microfiber towels? Thank You
  11. Wow that looks awesome Tom! You wouldn't happen to live in NSW would you? I would love to borrow or even buy the stencil off you
  12. Just lurk on the For sale thread until someone sells N1 turbos. Otherwise can buy them brand new. The equivalents which everyone gets are the -7's by Garrett Turbos. Although, if I was you I would order some -5's as I think you will always be wanting more power, where the -5's you can keep improving on quite a bit to pretty high numbers. Over 400awkw with the right mods. -7 and -9 max out way before then, which I find it pointless to upgrade for someone like you as, I think you will have the urge to keep looking for more power. Also, people may say -5's are laggy, but with some cams, correct cam gear ratios and a good ecu and tuned well, it's great for the street and track.
  13. Okay guys! This method about making a stencil would be great! If someone would like to make one, I will happily chip in with them and help get it made up. I just dont have any hook ups to a sticker/stencil maker or anything. Would be great if someone could organise! I'm very keen on getting this ARC symbol looking new again and will do whatever is reasonable!
  14. yeah, it's just not in the photo. The cooler and hard pipes are both on the car atm I'll guess I'll try to do this first! Use masking tape, as making a stencil seems pretty hard. Although I guess the issue would be getting the curved edges to be exact. I guess I'll do a DIY if I try it and turns out something like this!
  15. Someone do the stencil thing as Owgasm recommended please and I'll buy it haha. I've emailed ARC brazing to see if they can provide a stencil, but I highly doubt the chances of that happening.
  16. Hi guys, I was wondering if there existed a stencil for the ARC symbol for intercoolers. I have a twin entry M079 ARC intercooler for a BNR34 but as you can see from the image below, the symbol has faded quite a bit. Although, it did start off as white colour. I know I can print one out, but to get the exact height, width etc would almost be almost impossible.
  17. Okay, just double checked. All Imports photos are of a sample car. The other is still coming in but it's on hold from a deposit already. Hope the one places the deposit pulls out lol
  18. The car on the All Imports is a completely different. For starters it is; Midnight purple 2 not 3.
  19. Hi Guys, I was looking into HICAS Canceller rods and found that people do like having them and how it helps with predictability. Just wanted your opinion on whether it is beneficial for track. Otherwise what are the benefits of keep the HICAS system in tact for street and track use? I was looking at purchasing the Midori HICAS Canceller Rod. The look to do the job, and an easy install too! Thanks
  20. To be honest, I play on making my car more track based. In which I think I will go with a stiffer rear set up, so probably buy 8kg rear springs to fit with a rear sway bar to go. I know right now the car understeers like crazy, so I'll optimise oversteer. If that becomes too oversteery, I'll take out either the rear sway or refit the 6kg springs, which I doubt I'll do the latter because I've been told 6kg is way too soft as it is now. My car is street driven 99% of the time, but it's barely driven to start off with so I don't mind the stiffer ride. Thanks for your help guys! Any more imput would be great in terms of decision I made above.
  21. Cool, well I just spoke with another well known mechanic from here in Sydney, IS Motor Racing. Indy had told me not worry about the sway bars right now, and change my springs from F10kg/R6kg to F10kg/R12kg. At first, I was feeling a bit weird when he said to go to 12kg in rear, but I know doing that it will definitely decrease the cars natural understeer feel and the extra added understeer from my 10kg/6kg coilovers at the moment. What do you think about this?
  22. The Mine's GTR is the ultimate handling and response weapon, and it made me think that maybe I should only upgraded the rears due to the understeer nature of my car. My coilovers are 10kg/6kg compared to their Fr.12kg/Rr.10kg Would it be a better option to upgraded front as well due to my softer coilovers?
  23. Yep. I completely with you on this one. Thinking that the GTR will be a understeer bias type of car. In reference to the Mine's GTR, they only upgraded the rear. But the coilovers they run are much stiffer then mine, so I think I would have to run both larger front and rear. Going with Cusco will give me, 24mm (21mm stock) Front and 28mm (24mm stock) Rear which would in my opinion seems pretty optimal, would you agree?
