    cant they just make you open it on the grounds of saftey...like for a canary and stuff? i dont think they really need a reason to check your car to see if its safe on the roads. i remember a few years back, a friend told me that you used to be able to refuse to open your bonnet in Vic, but then you will just cop a letter from the EPA to takme it down to inspect. Catch 22.

    you will find that majority of them are stuffed.....there is a fault with them apparently. would be handy if it worked though. mine only works sometimes....and even then the time is always wrong no matter how many times i set it

    really? with his one, he pressed some button in whatever order it was and something weird happen. he has central locking and that automatic lock thing after 15 seconds. so we unlocked it and the car started up without the key. figure that one out! haha

    i remember they were crap! A friend has his in his supra. Has a nifty remote start function they we accidently stumbled upon while trying to set the timer properly....havent been able to do it again. If you figure it out, let us know. Cheers.

    yeah...i found that out about mine to. i did some research and as it turns out, they are one and the same. Ask pnblight as he has a lot of info about it.

    my roll cage in my old commodore used cable ties. keeps it firm in place. didnt look too bad either, probably cos the padding was black too.
