Ah thanks! They should fit easily then. I ended up going with the 17x8 & 9 +25s which will hopefully get here tomorrow. Looking for handling over looks as it is my daily. Ended up going with 225/45s front and 235/45s rear as the 245s were quite pricey.

Alright, thank you very much. Trying to stay away from getting them rolled, if possible. Was thinking of going staggered with front 8s and rear 9s and taking my chances with the +25. Would look much better than +35 and if worse comes to worse, may just need to roll the guards when I lower it.

2) Same with every car, it will depend how it's been treated. Look after something and it will last. Just make sure a thorough inspection is done before you buy it. I had access to complete RAA inspection results and spoke to the mechanics about every detail that came up. There were small things (pretty easy fixes) which most cars have but now I can make sure they are fixed before they develop into something more costly. 3) I bought mine pretty much stock as I didn't trust the ones with plenty of mods in my price range (and looked like they'd been thrashed).

Yeah, have comprehensive, a good club lock and try to park it in well lit areas with nothing in it. Still, takes the fun out of it a little having to worry.

Does anyone have the above sizes on their 33 gtst? Looking to buy a set of rims but not sure what offset would look better and still fit. Would +25 be too wide and the guards need to be rolled? Thanks!

Bought my 33 before joining and reading just how many are going missing. Really Paranoid.

To suit R33 S2 GTS-t. Front stock bumper, silver, no paint missing or dents. Stock bonnet, silver, no paint missing/ dents. Gear knob, similar to stock. Set of wheels, under $1.5k. Buddy club P1s or similar design. Prefer silver/ gunmetal but could powder coat if not. Prefer in Adelaide as easier to pick up, or can pay for wheels to be sent.

Called SGIC today and he quoted me $1211 for comprehensive (same details as above post). BUT wouldn't insure my car for more than $5000 and something claiming that's all they sell for and are worth at the moment. Hung up on him. Called RAA (member) quoted me $3000 for comprehensive. Think I might just stick with Just Car, they seem to be experienced with young drivers and turbos. I just don't want to have to pay the $1252 up front, would much rather pay it monthly (will be another $250 a year if I do).

I'm 19, female, same year and model, alarm, immobiliser, few mins from Stirling. I think I put it as not being my daily too. $1252 premium, $1550 excess. Where did they get the extra 1k from? A 33, where a bouts? Was around the hills yesterday with mine. First car I saw on my way home was a cop who immediately u-turned and came after me.

Yeah, neither could i, and there were no cops there either. Maybe they'd been arrested or taken to the station already. Was a pretty random sight.
