we are still doing reports and will continue to till the rta change the rules. yes they will be harder than now so dont leave it too long.

The new scheme is similar to the old only that the rat will now charge the engineering signatory a fee for every report they right. They could see all the engineers were making lots of money and they wanted a slice of the action. Report inspections will be more stricter including emission tests and photo on reports to show mods.

an engineers report wont stop you getting defected but if you have one and produce it when pulled over we find that 8 out of 10 they will leave you alone. alot comes down to your attitude but if a cop see's that your trying to do the right thing they usually leave you alone. As for epa . they are not concerned about engineers reports but only the pollution side of cars. they dont like pod fillter covers or homemade air box's front mounts or external bov. they will however leave you alone if you have had a recent emission test and passed.

i use greg at circle track wheels as well also mick at neals wheels are also good.

if it was imported AS a 15 year old import which is more than likely it will need an nsw engineers report and blue slip to regoed in nsw. personal inport have a yellow complience plate similar to the green/ purple ones of today. Greg
