my car got complianced with that left on it...i wanted it left on so the place i got it done at just said ok....they knew it was illegal, but they didnt seem to care.... anyhow i got busted with it about 1 month later so we took it back to the joint and they replaced it for free with something legal....ive got no idea what it is all i know is that it is only 81db now and its got a 3 inch from the cat and a 3 inch tip...its all stainless steel. They said that my current exhaust is 100 times better than the other one but I would trade anyday!! however I would only get busted again... and the dudes kept it and that was the last i saw of it

I was under the belief that this list is void now and it purely goes upon the power to weight ratio..... what is stopping you from buying a non turbo skyline and swapping the engine with a turbo'd one and modifying it further to get eg 200kw at the wheels????? going by this "list" its fine hence the void on it!

the rules a clearly stated in black and blue 125kw per tonne....the skyline is more....it doesnt matter by how much more they are more....therefore if you get caught you will most likely get in trouble!!! just dont get caught.

and if the police find out you are lying you will get in more shit!!!..

inark..you seem to be the only other person on here that knows the same as me....ive had many battles with this question over time.... we are correct turbo skylines are illegal for p platers... i hope there arent any police officers that read these threads...otherwise we are all knicked!...(some of us).
