yo, getting back to your original question regarding the registration, i am a p plater...yes you can get an r33 registered in your name you dont have to get it under your parents name. i got mine registered under my name and i also know of other people who did the same.

i put a battery in the back of mine thats meant for a truck, it doesnt go flat anymore , I had to get rid of the little tray the standard battery sits in and I also had to make another clamp to hold the battery down, it was well worth it! oh it is now sitting on a old piece of rubber(an old floor mat).

lever out the plugs that are holding it downwith something then you have to gently pull it out while slighty bending it because there are 2 plastic teeth on both sides holding it in place, you will see when you get it out....
