  4. Does anyone know the guy who drives this car its a black r32 with the plates either GTS 308 or GTS 303 the guy is also on p plates. Last night he nearly ran me off the road while overtaking me at about 900km in a 60 zone. He drives like a complete tosser...this was in the carnegie area...... :cuss:

  18. this is the most sensible idea... apparently once you cut wire 53 and leave it cut your car cannot exit diagnostic mode if need be..the switch sounds sensible
  19. Agreed that is what i did, hence the "removable" metal plate idea....
  20. all i did was fit a metal plate to the top of the panel filter...after a bit of trial and error found out that if you drill 19 10mm holes in this plate it will restrict the air flow to approx low 130kw at the wheels... this was tested on a dyno and i wrote up a special sheet listing all this information listing the normal power output of the skyline and then stating my new power output and the weight of the car etc then i showed some calculations and got the owner of the dyno place to sign and stamp the form etc etc made it all official and sent it into the insurance company..
  21. are you drunk?
  22. i did this to get insurance... with just cars as they wouldnt insure me as i wasnt off my p plates... the insurance company cared in my case! This is all good and well... most probably the insurance company will pay up if you are driving a car which is deemed too powerful however what happens if they look further into it and refuse eh??? there is no guarantee that they will pay!
  23. what a cool guy!
