  6. ok i currently stand corrected however when I was looking into this restricted vehicle list(4 months ago) i did read somewhere that the rule had infact changed and it purely went on the power to weight ratio....but it says on their site that it is still valid so I guess I am wrong...unless they havent updated their site?

  10. in no particular order being a confident driver and a good driver are 2 different things especially someone who hasnt got their p's yet.... speaks for itself if you place a sheet of metal with 19 10mm holes drilled into it and place it on the panel filter it will reduce the power to approx 133kw at the wheels a legal limit in a skyline for a p plater dont touch the boost do the plate thing....8psi? it is very possible to drive a skyline in any condition and not be worried about losing it this comes with driving experience in your car...however once you get this experience you are more likely to want to make the back pop out in the wet.... There is no such thing as a restricted vehicle list any more... this is the old method it purely goes on power to weight these days Agreed!

  13. you can modify the car so it wont be as powerful yes.....modify it so it is legal to drive and then get insurance for it as a modified gtst. that can be done easily

  16. yes i strongly agree with this... im on my p's with my r33-t but i had another car before this id get a car with a bit less power first and teach yourself how to drive correctly before jumping in the deep end... I'm not saying a skyline is hard to drive quiet the opposite actually but sometimes if you arent being "careful" then can be tricky...

  18. would this really be worth it? ive been thinking about this question for a while my thinking may be way out and I am probably wrong but would you really need some type of mesh to protect your FMIC wouldnt the positioning of the wheels basically not allow stones to enter through the front?
  19. r34-ts go for on a very average figure 40k onwards.... i guess it really depends where you get one from i think this figure is fairly accurate

  22. this doesnt just go for skylines but I like the fact that they(imports) seem to be far ahead technology wise compared to other cars...tell me what other 93 model and lower has 4 wheel streering abs all eletrics etc it seems as though only today other companies are making cars to this standard...?? correct me if im wrong
  23. I will beat it dont you worry... if people love them right about them I am personally attracted to the rear lights however it is funny how a few other companies have started producing cars with round tail lights!!!!1 and also the new ford is it that looks similar to the r34.....

  25. use a g clamp for the front....cant you just use a screw driver to lever the pistons back in then undo the bolts and pull out the pads? thats how i used to do it on fords when i used to service them..
