  1. whats the point? get both done at the same time
  2. hokkaido yeah im thinking about going somewhere like that too in the next few weeks have a nice time
  3. no one can give you an accurate answer because no one knows the condition of the car
  4. howd you get 2 copies ? its a really nice gesture but i dont need one. great bargain for the person who does though
  5. Was the change from 60km to 50 km sign posted? Even if it wasnt which I assume it would have been. You knew the speed limit was 60 but you were going 63km. Youve just admitted you knew you were doing the wrong thing so why try to get out of it. The same rules apply to everyone. Pay the fine and learn.

    Clubbing

im australian. I used to go to clubs 2 times a week in aus. They are 100000 times better here. No drunken fights. everyones there just to have a good time a little expensive (cover charge usually 3000円 / 4000円 $36/$48). People buy you drinks. you can talk to girls and they are mostly genuinely interested in talking.. etc etc heaps better. And from spring time to the end of summer there are huge dance parties a few times a week. Japan is famous for its car culture but the trance scene is even bigger. ps sorry for the hiijack pics are a bit big

    Clubbing

i gather cookie monsters are people on pills. There are heaps of awesome clubs here in Tokyo. The past year Ive seen Tiesto, Armin van buurin , Carl cox 2 times, Underworld, John Digweed, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van dyke, Frankie knuckles, Dj Krush 3 times and other not so well known guys .. I aslo went to Niijima a small japanese island 12 hours by boat from tokyo for a 4 day rave and there was a group from byron bay playing there. It was weird. Oh and the biggest club in Japan has its own swimming pool outside next to the bar and you can walk around it jump in it anythings fine see the attached pic. The thing in the back ground is a huge ice sculpture
  8. nice post rezz ... pfft 800 dollars. although if people are willing to pay a few hundred dollars send me the money and ill get you your plates.

  10. if i was you id buy a japan lonely planet guide but if you want my opinion go to shibuya/shinjuku/harajuku 1 day akihabara/ sumo shit / tokyo tower .... / or if you want to go to Tokyo Dome which will be the baseball stadium your talking about(suidobashi station) go to the 43rd floor of the Tokyo Dome hotel theres a bar there ...its a little expensive but the view is amazing. day 2 Asakusa then from asakusa ride a boat to Odaiba day 3 . and if theres time go to ginza and any other parks you can fit in
  11. not long judging from my last visit back to oz ...
  12. its happened to a few more people I know in recent months .... one such case being a high school girl walking along the street and a man on a motorbike pulls up in front of her (she was walking on the footpath) he then went for grabs successfully and rode away . assholes
  13. why.... Topic: which car would you buy sub topic: .... if you were to be given one ... which is it ?
  14. im wondering if people read threads before posting .... In my opinion you shouldnt have been driving... but you were, so therefore you should have been going slower, a lot slower than the posted speed limit to make sure nothing like this happened... especially someone who cant tell the difference between 110ish and 140ish ... edit: was typing before slide wrote
  15. jesus christ its still not registered ... ? didnt you buy the car about 1 year ago ?
  16. i forget what the argument is about i use おはよう to my どうりょう and its fine I also use it to my close friends too and theres no problem.. kinda the same as おつかれ no matter the time but there are better words to use as rezz was basically saying
  17. wait ive had another thought maybe it could mean having a drug addiction for a thousand armpit hairs ..... with really bad japanese but on another note it could have something to do with intellect so maybe intellect of the mountain and armpit hairs and it being a difficult job and possibly it causing trouble along the way and its going to cause some trouble and its going to take a lot of effort and somone will exert themselves (me) serious just get a sticker that reads めちゃめちゃ , or ばか言う but im also wondering about the ャ maybe it means catch .... me(?) 。。。。何とか 。。。will be a difficult job/ task anywhere/ various places ... 山のセ = at the mountain ridge this is true but it could also be to emphasis the meaning ... which is certainly not 100% 日本語 (japanese)
  18. ok i put some thought into this one 山 / ヤマ (backwards) may be something to do with a mountain as yama means mountain, or a monuntainous area etc 骨 / ホネ means bone, a joint, and it can be used with other japanese to mean things such as - a man of spirit - a difficult job - a hard job - have trouble - a hard UPHILL task - to work a person very hard - to spare no pain - to take endless pain - to make an effort doing - exert - ones self - easily without trouble カチ means worth, merit a value and be used to things such as - something is very valuable - to deserve something - a value of learning - artistic value - - a value of learning セ can mean the rear of something hence 山のセ = a mountain ridge at this point maybe a few things could be backwards ... セチ = strong / maybe worldly wisdom so i think either it means reading it backwards 1.) do you have wisdom of neho mountain? 2.) to try your hardest and learn/ deserve ...何とか... its going to be a difficult job 3.) rezz
  19. thanks mate its a long road ahead.. hence working 66 hour weeks. yep i had to recently to write a letter and sign it saying i would come to work more often and show proof of my absences ... 80% attendance.. ok so the count thus far is 6ちょい
  20. id use some type of acid to try and eat it away... youve been doing burnouts in your garage?
  21. according to some reliable sources it means nothing. agree with rezz some made up slang
  22. well according to the government and the tax department I am a non-permanent resident. Ive been here for 2 years. I work full time in 2 elementary schools and in 1 junior high and then in the evenings I work for a terrible private english school. I came to Japan because I wanted to learn Japanese and because I became interested in the culture from 2 previous trips. I think I might be here for maybe another year then I have to come back and find a career so my fiance can prepare for the move.
