  1. c*nt , maybe i should have moved down there a few years ago.. but the snow season is coming in a month so cant go anywhere
  2. i too have been waiting for this,.. was also waiting for pics
  3. stageanawa ... nice mate nice sleeper et . i work at a kindergarten as an english teacher. I dont want to bring any more negativity to this thread. But for a foreign person(who is more than enough skilled in the japanese language) living in Japan VS a Japanese person living in Australia(who is more than enough skilled in Engish) they are two very different things Everyone in Australia would assume you are fluent / treat you no differently In Japan even if you prove yourself , or speak very well you constantly get spoken to like your a child(slow etc) and often get the people who will only speak english to you... even though you may not be able to understand what it is they are saying to you and would be a lot easier for both sides if they didnt. Ive heard Okinawa is the place to live in Japan but I hate goya and dont want to eat cops heads discuss
  4. dodgybrooks, after todays shopping expedition I think you could be correct. sleeper et Ive lived in canada for 7 months also. Its very difficult to explain. but the longer people live in Japan the more they learn / understand the culture/ experience "Japan" . You cant get this experience from a short trip to Japan. You have to live the life of an unfairly treated, high tax paying outsider resident for a few years.
  5. i kinda figured the mitsubishi part didnt relate to a mitsubishi car. as the company mitsubishi make many things . . . prob wrong though

  7. did a quick google search. but did find that autobacs sell it for approx 10,000 yen not much help sorry although it does say that it is universal for airbag cars.
  8. R-sanyon . yep ive been here for 5 years now. I really enjoy my job.. however I think its time to move on. I intend to come back and try my hardest to get into the telecommunications industry. (hopefully my degree is still worth something . . . ) , get a mortgage and either build or buy a newish house. Ill hopefully be able to come back once a year or every few years. It weird. because the longer I am in Japan the more I find that annoys me about the place yet I know that when I leave I will probably miss it.
  9. hehe hellish
  10. for a movie to be so deep that only a Japanese person can understand, that movie must be a couple of days long. The good old youll never be Japanese, you will never understand line. R-sanyon just wondering what the things you wished you had done while still in Japan but didnt are. As im leaving Japan for good to come home to get married etc etc and wanna double check my list before I go. cheers for anyhelp
  11. i agree with beer baron. if your after an ornamental sword there is a very good place in asakusa not too far from akasaka
  12. id love to see a comparison. between a full tank off petrol when the overdrive was not used and a full tank of petrol when the overdrive was left on. similar driving on both. I have a feeling there may be a few suprises. I would not sue overdrive unless I was going to stay at a constant speed above 80kmh for awhile
  13. Just got this translsted for you The Japanese name of the good luck thing is called an OMAMORI The big Kanji on the left says NEGISHI MITSUHIKO, which can either be someones name or possibly the name of the shrine or temple where it was bought. The easier Kanji on the right says KOUTSU ANZEN = safe traffic / driving but there is also some Kanji that could not be translated. and if it couldnt be translated by a native who could translate it ...
  14. you should only keep it for one year though , or this good luck can turn into bad luck.. apparently .
  15. that orange red thing is the flare its still there

Thanks Satanic, decided only to send back 1/3 of that container. hehe (i wish) but after realizing how much money was made Ive become very interested in exchange rates. So much so that I have added an exchange rate widget to my desktop.
