i will be looking at an s15 in the future.... this is wrong. Insurance is more because it is australian delivered. If you are going to get an s15 go the JDM s15. You get more power stock and the insurance is cheaper for the import as there are less of them on the road so less have been crashed. I got a quote for an aussie s15 spec r and a jdm spec r from the same company at the same time and the aussie spec r was going to cost 1k more to insure for the year.......

i get a lot of bad looks when driving down side streets from people either getting in or out of their cars... :confused:

im pretty sure they check the spare wheel for pressure and for the amount of tread... maybe things have changed

the H pattern thing really gets up my nose

twin dump = another pipe for wastegate, re enters dump futher down.... I would have thought a car which was complianced and no spare wheel in the boot unroadworthy.... I would go down and force them to give it to you..

if you want a good price just ring around shops in your area etc. It is a pretty easy job and shouldnt be too expensive or time consuming.

you can tell when the car starts up... if its all rough then goes smooth, its been reset.

when I was in japan i just went to a cafe... some are free if you buy a drink or something that they sell in the refreshment area.. drop in 100 yen and that will buy you 15 minutes or so in public places hotels etc etc. but with ISPS i dont know

i dont mind about the suspenison. In 28 days it starts and i leave in march so its really only a 2 month suspension its more the insurance factor afterwards when I want to buy another car. I'm assuming a JDM spec R might be a little tricky to insure cheaply now ...
