p platers can drive any car as long as it is a max of 125kw per tonne. it all comes down to power to weight. i can buy a gtst and decrease the power. as long as i have proof that the power is decresed then there is no problem. if its purely on factory weights i could buy a little 60kw lancer and drop in a new engine a huge turbo and have a 460 kw little lancer.....see what im getting at therefore as long as the car is a max of 125kw per tonne it is legal.... i went through all this when i bought my skyline, the legalities of what ive just been talking about hence i have a skyline also if i have an accident i will be covered!

certian insurance compaines will cover p platers in an r33, however come accident time they will not be covered plain and simple. well i dont agree with this one little bit. why cant you use a power measurment? im under the impression you can!

oh shit sorry dudes, i fixed it the other day but forget to check the thread. for everyones information the brake light in the r33(the one in the spoiler) is wired in groups of 4 serial leds then those groups in parallel. it turns out that the third group on mine wasnt working, after using some logic i found that one of the dry joints wasnt soilded correctly. i tried to fix this but still didnt work so i took the easy way out and bridged the connection with the next set of leds and everything works fine.

well i recently replaced my cat and installed a front/dump pipe and my car still read 3/4 on the standard boost gauge. which is what it was reading before i replaced these things. the boost appears to be the same.

i must say im rather upset that you guys have or are going to have major/ huge rw kw figures. my time will come in a few months.

well as everyone else has added: i drive well partly girly but then partly hoon. i get around 320+ but no more then 400km per tank.

you could do this and make it look like a gaskett however im pretty sure you would get another letter/ sticker soon anyhow as it isnt really the easiest to conceal a beasty exhaust note!

ok, today i noticed 4 LEd's in my brakelight are out. this makes me think they must be wired in groups of 4 series to parallel. anyways back to my query. replacing the 4 would be easy enough however getting the 4 to match the others perfectly would be hard. can you buy these things seperately eg: from nissan...anyone know or would iot be easier to buy the whole light unit/ loom and all... where from whats the cost.....
