ok i had a bit of a look under mine and im not sure if im looking at the same thing as you...ok but here goes on mine i see this black i guess basket looking thing with vents in it....and it is bolted into the rear panel...as far as i can tell this is just a blastic cover to protect the things on the inside... as my car is different to most other r33's i have a resivor in the boot for my active diff. my plastic basket thing i would say is there to protect this and its contents eg such as the hose coming out and going to the diff and also there are a few other gizmos in there that may be related not sure??

ive had my car on one of these before however it wasnt at a nissan dealer.

i am correct! i think it would have to be an option because im pretty sure the driver side door motor would have to be replaced with a master for the remote to unlock/lock all doors. This is what happens when you get an alarm fitted that has central locking you need to replace the driver side motor.

i think you should have gotten at least 2 keys. 1.) the key you are talking about with the balck plastic head with the skyline symbol on it. and 2.) a key that can only start the car and will not open the glove box and the boot,where the other one will. there is another key you were talking about with buttons on it i think this might be for those people in japan that wanted the option of a trunk release etc... but im not 100% sure on this.

sometimes i let mine idle for a bit and sometimes i dont. when i dont i always drive it soft. however if im running late to work or something i'll run outside and start it up and come back about 7 minutes later then i can drive it harder sooner and get to work on time.

massive! huh... just go to a local exhaust place tell them what you want and usually they'll do it pretty good if your looking for somewhere in melbourne that is recommended id take mine to red ace motors in hugesdale they import cars and were originally an exhaust place but now they also do rwc's as well. So they fit exhausts to skylines all the time. I've dealt with them and i told a friend of mine to go there as well... everything was good

mine does the same thing! , i just dont worry about it because i dont get along with my clutch, its going to go sooner or later so i dont care

well i just got back from mondo motors on warrigal road, felt like going down and having a bit of a look at their cars and this thread got me interested in the klms on some imports....so i went down to have a look.. well well they must think we are stupid or something!!! i mean for goodness sakes.... heres an example there was a purple 95 vspec down their with apparently only approx 42k on the clock. The steering wheel was so warn it wasnt funny actually i dont think ive seen a steering wheel as warn as this one, there where scratches all around the lock on the driver side the front bar was pretty chipped and the dash was a little untidy here and there and there were a few more scratches around the car... it did not look like it had only done 42k... i was shocked

my fuel light starts to come on below the empty line. firstly it comes on then goes off, depending on the angle of the road then after a while it comes and stays on.

do it as fast as you can but make sure you are turning the wheel enough....if it doesnt work try turning the wheel a little more.... tap it in and out I've put my car into diagnostic mode many times however last week when i tried to put a friends car into it i couldnt so just keep trying!

im dont understand what you mean here? if you are saying your rear wheels move when you are not in diagnostic mode just sitting on the spot and you turn your wheel you are wrong! Skyline 4ws only opreates when you are travelling and not stationary unless you are in diagnostic mode!
