  3. thanx mesh but i'm half way there, already got Microtech ECU in the car which is a map sensor so no restrictive af sensor change needed, already got dump pipes and jasma exhaust and one big cooler in there power so far 257kw ( @ only 1 bar ), But YES a lot of those other items are on the list , mainly trubo's, boost controller and cam gears.... anyone got any idea what kind of power increase i will get just by adding boost to 1.2 bar????? also mark34 did the 2530's just bolt straight up?? cheers....

  5. thanx fellas, not completely decided yet but i think i will be going with 2530's if anything, what other mods did you have to get that power output mark34gtr??? sydneykid i am sort of thinking about a 2530 kit from nengun any idea how much it would cost to pay a shop to install them???? what should it set me back?? much work involved in gettin them on??? thanx fellas....
  6. ok cool so the consensus is no problems, i just got one pm from someone saying they had to pay tax cause customs intercepted it and nengun didn't want to know about it, seems like it was an isolated incidednt though.
  7. i did a searchand found at least a lot of people have orderd but couldn't find any info on larger orders, or problems which i suppose is a good thing, so ordering turbos for 3500 shouldn't be risky then? cheers feelas

  10. thanx fellas, i am very interested in the garrets t28 and the 2530's and maybe n1's i think 2530's out of preference but the price is going to determine a lot too, looks like i get new t28's or n1s for about 3k so it will probably be one of the these unless i find a competitive set of 2530's..... SYDNEYKID do you know how much work is involved to get t28's onto gtr i'm told they are not a bolt on and need new actuators to run over 1 bar?????? after speaking with gcg and others the direct bolt ons are seeming more appealing.......hmmmmmm currnetly at 257 rwkw hoping to hit 300 with turbos cam gears and maybe 1.2 bar this should be possible???
  11. we have a 96 gtr vspec hittin 257 rwkw@1bar running exahaust dumppipes, microtech, big cooler, nice car..... have been considering wether to bother with the whole pods and cold air box, seems to be a lot of disagreements about wether its worth it.....currently just using satndard box with hiflow filter......

  14. yeah i think i want larger turbos a lot of people seem not happy with power gains on the n1's but pm me the price and details and maybe.......who did the work on them???? anyone know garret equivelants of 2540's???
  15. dont know if this helps but we went from 229 rwkw's to 257 just by gettin someone with clues and time to retune microtech on gtr, which also rely on map sensor....aftermarket ecu's can be a real bastard....
  16. oh yeah, maybe , dont know about nizmo turbos what are they rated at? how much? how old are they? why he selling them? i think ill buy new ones but always open to suggestions.... so what are the garret equivilent to 2530's/2540's????? anyone?? also has anyone used 2540's are they a pig to drive on the street???
  17. hello all, we are new to this forum so firstly thanx for all the advice i have already learned , currently have a r33 96 vspec modificatrions so far include microtech lt12 dump pipes exhaust big ****in intercooler pwer so far after latest tune 257 rwkw@1bar. which we are quite happy with.... further upgrades will include electronic boost, turbos, air intake, cam gears, questions are... which turbos??? we will be driving this car almost everyday so driveaqbility is a major concern , i am thinking garrets due to thier price , something perhaps just bigger than n1's cause most i know with n1's have not acheived their desired power gains, any input appreciated..... p.s. whats the garret equivalant to 2530's???
