Not a fan of the drifteks? I reckon they look mint

Hey guys, new to the forum, I just purchased a 1993 R32 4 door; the dude I bought it off knew nothing about the car, not helping that I'm far from a mechanic myself. From what I can tell it's a standard RB20DET running a low mount aftermarket turbo, although I can't tell what type exactly. It has M12 AR.5 marked on the housing, but I can't tell if it's the Garrett item or some china ebay spec. Otherwise, external gate, standard BOV, pod filter, FMIC, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, Blitz turbo timer. The suspension is low and firm but it doesn't look like it has coilovers so I'm not sure there. Stock brakes with drilled front rotors. It boosts up to 12psi, but it doesn't have a boost controller and it's running the stock computer. I'm looking to purchase both these at the moment, but I'm not sure what computer to go for. The local mechanic has a dyno but can only tune Australian computers, what would suit the RB20? I'll have some pictures up tomorrow night. Ricky

Ok, just before I take the dash cluster out, the speedo happened to die just after a particularly nasty shift from first to second... Could the problem possibly be at the gearbox end of the line?

Hey guys, new to the forum, just bought an R32 four door, and all of a sudden my speedo has died. Anyone able to point me in the right direction as to where to look first? Cheers.
