  1. Connie and I promised him forever alone bishes and they bailed on Nick. Shirts of hugs was the only way to make him feel better.
  2. Yep. They are fine and you know the games will all work on them. Still nothing can beat a PC for power and graphics.
  3. Looks like there is 3 of us who can build you one Ants
  4. I've never had an issue with any Intel system I have built and the 3 AMD systems I built were the most unstable pieces of crap I have ever used. But that was just before AMD lost a lot of market share so they may be a lot better now.
  5. AMD and Intel are the 2 CPU manufactures. Ford and Holden so to speak.
  6. My last one cost $1200 and lasted 4 years, was on its last legs gaming wise tho.
  7. I'd say its still doable with Intel, but it will become obsolete sooner. I have a pathological hatred for AMD after some very bad experiences with them.
  8. An SSD is probably not possible with a $1000 budget, especially if that $1000 includes an monitor.
  9. It's like saying 'this skyline has a garret turbo' in an ad, what garret turbo? The 1150 boards range in price from sub $50 to $400-$500 with vast differences in features.
  10. Yes, they also do not specify the RAM they use or its clock speed.
  11. Playing movies required very little power just a lot of storage. Storage is very cheap again so it's not a worry.
  12. I did Ants, there are about 15 ASUS 1150 socket boards so which one is it? EDIT: Just checked ASUS' webpage, they have 28 Socket 1150 boards available.
  13. You mean people with days and days of time to spend clocking every component.
  14. I wanted a serious machine like that but couldn't justify it.
  15. This is true but I have found $2000 to be a good amount to spend for some gaming grunt that will last 2-3 years and play all now games. My last $1000 computer struggled after 12-18 months to play new games on max settings.
  16. For starters it doesn't give any specs about the motherboard.
  17. $1000 will only get you a basic 'gaming' computer, how serious are you about it Ants?
  18. I was just playing round with some clocks when I first got it. I got it nice and stable at 4.8 so it lives there now with smart boost kicking it up when needed.
  19. Better to work out a budget and build to that, that's what I do.
  20. Yah the one you linked give no info on most of the parts.
  21. My gaming PC set me back about $1900, all from aussie shops.
  22. 4.2? Mine is running at 4.8...had a suicide clock on it of 5.5 for a while.
  23. Put an RB back into the abomination and we'll stop giving you shit.
  24. That's fine, just let us know because we need to give QR numbers for catering. You don't need anything special.
