  1. Or buy a second hand S2 one and just keep boost under 10 psi to get you out of trouble.
  2. Yes, but north Brisbane is close to Lakeside and QR/Drags. Sunny coast is nice but go farther north than Caboolture if you do.
  3. 1996 R33 GTST Series 1 108 XXX on the clock 3 inch turbo back Turbosmart tee FMIC Got mine as a recovered vehicle with the import plate taken. Paid $1900 thinking if I couldn't register it again I could just part it out, turned out I could register it. After replacing the bits that where taken/broken in the theft cost about $5500-$6000.
  4. If it is doing it under throttle it probably isn't, but if it is when you let off it probably is.
  5. Sunshine coast is farther away from drags if that is Important for you.
  6. Yah stay north side...don't let anyone talk you into going south of that river Seriously though, keep out of Logan and the west or have a very serious amount of security on your line.
  7. Well I'm at the very north end of Brisbane and it's about an hour drive to the nearest drag strip, Lakeside is about 5 minutes up the road and the 2 best mountain runs are only about 15 min away. So within greater Brisbane you will be about 1 hour from the drags.
  8. Blue 34 in Strathpine with an SAU sticker at about 3:00pm, looked nice and clean.
  9. That's good, I need an alignment done and wanted to take it to some place where it isnt going to be the 17 yo doing it. Anyone else recommend Fulcrum?
  10. Humidity is the killer, we normally average around 30 deg. in summer and 20 deg. in winter. Sydney and Melbourne get more and longer heat waves than we do up here. Where abouts are you thinking of moving to? Greater Brisbane or one of the northern towns?
  11. As long as you stay away from Bundaberg you can avoid all said 'rum'.
  12. We tend to miss all the massive fluctuations in temperature that the other states get.
  13. Also no pink slips for rego, RWC to register then just pay your fee.
  14. Much better traffic for starters. If you are after the most jobs and the biggest car scene then Brisbane would be the best then the GC then Ipswich, although the GC has almost no jobs atm. Winners of 7 origins in a row
  15. My old man bought a VK ute in NSW and had to have all relevant mod plates to get it registered. He used a mobile guy on the northside but I don't know if he was any good.
  16. Judging by the tyres in the guards it has been lowered, unless the tyres are a much bigger outside diameter. In QLD it is 100mm from any point and I believe that's the case everywhere else.
  17. The drivers mat in the first one looks exactly the same as the one in my 33 gtst, but I only have the drivers not any of the others.
  18. Atmosphere bov?
  19. You have family in NSW? Use their address as the 'garaged' address on your NSW rego and drive here on that. I know a chick that drives here in Vic rego because it's cheaper.
  20. I'll be coming for dinner but I'll have to heal after that.
  21. Basically, cost about $70 all up but I have enough perspex left to make a second one if I want.
  22. Come up here...much nicer than NSW
  23. But can I drive my 33 on it?
