  2. Hi Everyone, The Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 30th of September 2014 at the Shannons Club House, Unit 5B/ 305 Montague Road, West End. There were no objections to these members being appointed to the executive: President Michael (Cadmoon) Vice President Pete (sneakey pete) Treasurer Andrew (-Boz-) Secretary - General Mel (Melly) Secretary - Memberships Connie (conniestance) Committee (non executive) Thanks to all who turned up for the AGM, a very productive discussion about the future of the club was had so look out for changes coming soon. A big thanks to the outgoing Exec's who have donated their time over the years to keep things moving. And a big thanks to the new guys joining us this year. As always all the exec crew are happy to field suggestions and questions from our fellow club members - so don't be shy. The Exec Team

  4. I can but since there's only one person standing per position it is a simple yes/no of acceptance for the nominees.

  7. Don't forget this is tomorrow night everyone, as mentioned we will be discussing the possible closure of the club so if you want to be part of the decision please come along.
  8. If you're going to Sydney to look at a car I'd take someone who knows what to look for with you. The pressure will be on to buy it there and then so you have a way home but you should be prepared to walk away and catch a plane home again.
  9. It may be worth considering interstate travel if you find a really clean one down south.
  10. 33 are common as mud in Brisbane, 34 are not as common but by no means rare. They're 13-20 year old cars now and most have been bought by young kids that didn't maintain them and thus they become flogged out. It's very hard to find a good condition 33 and a bit easier but still hard to find a nice 34. The only advice I can give is to keep looking.
  11. Saturday sorry Andrew.
