Sick_R31 just had his 26 rebuilt by them and he's normally spot on with his advice.
  4. Hey everyone, The monthly meeting for August is coming up on the 3rd. These monthly meetings gives us a perfect opportunity to cover the basic housekeeping of the club, recap on past events and let you know about the exciting upcoming events. It also means we get to have a good feed! Event: Sau Qld Monthly Club Meeting Location: The Pineapple Hotel 706 Main St, Kangaroo Point Date: Monday, 3rd of August Time: 6.00pm onwards Cost: Main meal prices are from $10 up Requirements: This is an Open event, so you do not need to be a member to attend as everyone is welcome. We ask that attendees obey all Road rules. We don't want people racing up and down the street or general Hooning. Remember you are representing the Club, so we need to be on our best behaviour. See everyone there
  5. What's to explaining? Sau may have to get closed as per my announcement in the AGM thread.
  6. Nothing can compete with SAU for that but also that technical knowledge isn't contingent on being a member of a state chapter. In Queensland at least the young guys who buy 32's and 33's aren't interested in anything that costs them money and the GTR owners prefer to hang out in their own groups and don't associate with gtst/gtt owners. When I organise almost every event and have the same 5 or 10 guys show up and all the people calling for events are no where to be seen I just get sick of it. The are also no people interested in being on the exec and helping the club grow. Closing the club is the last thing I want to do but unless things turn around it's almost inevitable. Aaron, I would urge you to come along to the AGM and see what we decide to do. I have a few different ideas on how to keep the club going but in the end it's attendance to events that we need.
